First off I am biased as I have an unnatural love for all things coffee:)  I think it looks really cool though and is something different.  Plus the flower smell mixed with the coffee bean smell I think would be really nice.  You should totally do it!!!

I love it! But, I also love all things coofee, so you may need another point of view. If you’re making them yourself, just make sure to section off the coffee beans from the flower foam (I think that’s what it’s called), in order to avoid a sticky mess. And, you should also let the coffee beans sit out for a few days before the wedding so the scent isn’t so overpowering to your guests.

I saw this information in a video somewhere. If you’d like I can try to find it for you, but I don’t have the link at the moment.

We used coffee beans on our head table with candles.

I love the look!

I like it! Especially since you’re using craft paper. I think it works well with the natural feel of the coffee beans. But do leave the out because some people don’t love the smell of coffee.

I don’t think flower foam would add that much work to your idea. Just cut a piece that fits into the opening, stick your flowers into it and then cover everything with the beans.

i was totally going to do this with flowers and candles, but just ended up going plain because of lack of time and $$.  it’s such a fun idea, and i agree with the others who said let the beans sit out so the smell is not so strong.

if you were not planning on using floral foam, you could put the flowers in a small plastic bag, fill with inch or so of water and secure tightly around the stems with a rubber band.  then just set down in the vase and surround with beans to keep the arrangement upright.

Love the look of the coffee beans with flowers!

@Redeemed Rebekah: Where did you find your tall square vases?  I’m looking for something similar!

I made a mock up of this but never would have thought of the ziplock bag with a little water if I decide to go with real flowers…  I love peonies but they are sooo expensive!
