Can you provide more details? Coffee in terms of... food/beverage theme?
Is it a morning or early afternoon wedding with a brunch sort of tie-in?
I think that is a great idea! You could do so many cute things with the beans.

I saw a really cute idea once where votive and pillar candles were set in glass containers filled with coffee beans. I'm not having a coffee themed wedding, but I'm going to use this idea for the coffee table at the end of the reception.

Well I was thinking of centerpieces of glass vases with coffee beans which would give off a nice aroma with maybe a candle in the vase as well...but I have no idea where to go from there..maybe a sunday afternoon dinner reception finishing early round 8pm
mmm sounds like a fantastic idea!! and the aroma in the reception space would be awesome! i'm having sort of a chocolate inspired theme... chocolate linens, chocolate favors, chocolate desserts..etc.

I think you could have a great coffee house/laid back kinda style or more fancy coffee themed wedding!
If you guys like it you should do it! the colors could be brown & an accent color!
I think it would be cute! We looked into getting an espresso bar for our wedding because we love coffee too.
what a fabulous idea!! If i was having brown in my wedding i'd TOTALLY do that coffee bean thing. We planned to have a full espresso bar at ours since we are having a 9AM ceremony, but the cost slapped us in the face... so brewed coffee and flavored creamer, it is. Sigh.
@Miss Damask: I love espresso, but I think brewed and flavored creamer is just as good..any coffee will do!!
LOVE the coffee idea! I'm a huge coffee junkie, so I would be in heaven! The favors are super cute (little bags with Names and Dates) You could also have a coffee bar set up with lots of different types and flavors and such. I'm jealous! If I didn't already have my theme, I'd be stealing yours! 
You could do old-fashion-y coffee shops signs photoshopped to be about you guys and include that in printed materials. Your monogram could look like a coffee shop logo! I LOVE IT!

Name the tables after different roasts and regions where they grow coffee! (Kona, Jamaican Blue Mountain, Sumatra, etc)
Or, you could choose names with items from a café menu, espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, mocha, etc.
I think centerpieces with coffee beans will be delightful.
What are you thinking for colors? Probably chocolate brown is a given. :)

Depending on what your reception plan is, you could even have a gourmet coffee bar. A friend of mine had one and it was a huge hit! Something like this: http://javapura.com/coffee-catering

You could give out coffee packets as favors. Have coffee flavored cake and possibly serve it with coffee ice cream (but provide an additional flavor for us guests who don't like the taste of coffee). I also like the idea of naming the tables after coffees, as someone else already suggested. And using the coffee beans in the centerpieces will really make the room smell amazing.
I really like this idea, love the inspirations that hcritton posted, and, like Miss Chapstick, am not really much of a coffee drinker myself. ;) As long as you are serving a decaf option or two (since all of this coffee smell will make everyone want some!), I think this is awesome. :) What a great theme!

I love coffee and have contemplated a coffee themish wedding! Those coffee centerpieces hcritton posted, and you already know what to get for favors (some delish bags of coffe, and you can make your own personalized labels). WEeeeeeeeeeee!
Have you already picked out a reception location? If not, a cafe type place? You can make it a coffee and dessert type reception? YUMS!

I was at a wedding where the favors were little bags of coffee, like the pic posted above. I thought it was pretty neat. I also really like those pics of using the coffee beans in the vases!

I think as someone mentioned a chocolate brown with champagne color. I think the golden color would give it a nice elegant touch along with lots of candlelight
Mmmm! I don't drink coffee, but I love the smell... your wedding will smell delicious! And maybe your morning cup of joe will remind you of it every day :) I think that's neat!
I think you could easily make it a theme! I wouldn't overdue it but the centerpieces that @hicritton showed look great! and you could get coffee theme favors and personalize them. You could also use great brown colors for your bridesmaids and your color(s).
I've seen some really cute coffee themed celebrations...on an LJ community I read, a graphic designing friendor made the couple a custom 'starbucks inspired' favor logo.
i'm more of a dunkin donuts girl hahah but it definitely is a great theme, but as Sulli301 said just not to over do it
Yeah, I think it's an awesome idea! Of course, like you and others said... don't overdo it. But having some little touches here and there would be cool--like a coffee bar or maybe a tiramisu grooms cake?

Any thoughts on a coffee themed wedding? I love coffee as well as my SO..who loves coffee? ha
