Can you get to your doctor? Here in the US there are a few prescriptions you can get to get rid if them.

A trick I use, is 50/50 bleach and water. I dip a q-tip in it and dab a few times a day. I do not get it in my mouth and I swish with water as a precaution. It usually works in a day or 2.

I’m so sorry!

tessablue:  I am so sorry. Do you guys have aberva? I put that on and cover it with a bandaid helps keep it down. Maybe ice it also.

when this happens, i take 3-4 lysine every few hours.  it overloads it!  hot compress can help as well.

Ice for the swelling and abreva cold sore patches if you can get them. You can apply makeup on them. they really are 90% not visible when you put them on. That being said they don’t treat the sore they only mask it.

tessablue:  Abreva always works for me. If not, your make-up artist can likely work wonders! Stay hydrated and get some rest. Stress does not help anything!

tessablue:  ugh. I know they are awful. Nothing works for me either. I take tons of Advil and tums and hope.

You’ve gotten some great suggestions, but I just wanted to add that I’m sure you will look beautiful, regardless! We’re always our own worst critic

Don’t worry about the bleach, that’s why you dilute it. You don’t want it dripping, just a couple dabs. The smell goes a way after a few minutes. I found that trick 5 years ago and haven’t looked back.

tessablue:  Put apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball and hold it on the cold sore as long as you can stand it.  This always helps mine heal faster and dry up!

The pp’s have pretty much covered what you can so before the day, but if it hasn’t completely gone by Friday your make up artist will be able to help cover it and if it STILL shows up most photographers will know how to photoshop it out of your pictures.
