Hey there both myself and my best friend got sick with a sinus cold, sore throat/nasal congestion.  Mine was early around 4 months and her’s around 6 months.  Both of us it took almost 3 weeks to get over.  I would call your doctor and let them know and ask what you can take.  I tried the netti-pot and it really helped me a lot on top of taking clartin.  I tried not to take the claritin.  Lots of cough drops helped too.  Sorry your sick!

I have been sick not once but TWICE since I got pregnant. Pregnancy tends to compromise your immune system.
When I was sick the first time, I had a sinus and ear infection. It just kept getting worse and worse but I didn’t want to take anything for it. Eventually I ended up going to the CVS minute clinic to get antibiotics, but they freaked about how sick I was and sent me to the ER.
The ER just laughed at me and prescribed antibiotics but said to try and go another few days without taking them and see how I feel. I think that was one of the WORST sinus infections I’ve had and I was so paranoid about hurting the baby.

I had a normal ultrasound two weeks later, so felt reassured.

Now I am sick again (regular cough/cold this time) and feel a little better about it. It is definately taking longer than normal to get over it but I’m sure I’ll be fine in another week or so.

Hope you feel better soon! Get some rest.
