Im still an undergrad. I am studying Economics and Organizational Management. Only one more year left!
I'm in grad school now, Integrated Marketing Communication and less than 6 months left! :)
PhD program...three weeks! (fingers crossed for luck that I both survive the next three weeks and that I pass my defense)
@philabride2bee: Good luck!!!
I'm in grad school, getting an MLS (Masters in Library Science). I'm done at the end of July--woohoo!
Doctorate of Pharmacy program will be done in May 2012 (less than a year!) and Master of Public Health program will be done in May 2013 (full time for this year and part time for next year). I'm currently looking into residency and fellowship options, so it won't be free for a more years.
Secondary foreign language education....
spanish teacher. lol
i will graduate exactly 6 months after the wedding. :]
I'm in grad school, studying dentistry. Only 11 months until I have my DDS. Hooray!!
Grad school at the moment, getting my Masters in Public Health (Epidemiology). Would love to go on to a PhD in epidemiology...or another Masters, lol
I LOVE school so much; I wish I could spend my whole life just getting more degrees :)
@ThunderBunny: I love school too. It's an ongoing joke with my husband that I will never be done! I was just recently researching DrPH degrees, but I'm not sure that I actually need two doctorate degrees... but if I could just go to school because of a love for learning, I totally would :)
I forgot to say I only have 6 months left! It's great to see so many bees in pursuit of higher education!!
I'm going into my sixth year of an education degree, with a major in history. (They don't usually take that long!) I'll be done next April.
Technically I am 25 credits from my BA in Anthropology and a minor in Museum Studies but it'll be 19 when my professor submits the grades at the end of the week for the research I just finished. 13 in the fall then 6 or 9 in the spring depending if I can fit in American Military History.
But grad school is right afterwards for my MA in Museum Studies or American Material culture, so it'll be awhile before I'm "free", especially if I go on for PhD down the road (depends if I can stay in Collections or get suckered into Curatorial)
Going for a PhD in genetics. Only a second year, so hopefully I'll be done in three. Congrats on those who are nearing the end!
Working (part time) on my MBA now. Should be done in December yay!! I dont know how long I will be free though! I am already researching options to continue my studies, I love school lol!
I'm working towards my elementary teaching degree. I have summer classes starting in a couple weeks.
B.S. in psychology. One year left!! Then, as long as I am accepted somewhere, I'm on to a PhD program for Clinical Psychology. I too, love school.
i just finished my 1st of 6 or 7 years in a phd program-- it's a looong road ahead still
I'm a late college bloomer. I am a sign language interpreting major and I graduate in 2014. A long way to go, but I love ASL!
I have an Associates in Child Development and I am currently working towards my Bachelors in Social Work. I havent decided if I'm going to go on and get my Masters, but I have a feeling that I will. I just cant wait until I can start working in my field! The goal is work for Child Protective Services. I will graduate Spring of 2013, and that seems like its so far away!!
Wow you ladies are all very smart.
I'm the odd one out I feel. I hate hate hate school, but I know I will love my job :)
I'm getting my associates in nursing in December. I may get my bachelors, but I know I want to work first. Bachelors is only like a year of online classes I think.
Law school, only one year left. Phew! I did undergrad in Sociology and also Human Services. It will sure be nice to be done paying someone and getting some $$ instead! :-)
I just finished but I refuse to admit I am no longer a college kid. So, I will further my denial and tell you I am "studying" Criminal Justice!
This fall I start my last year of Undergrad, I finish my BA with a double major in Psychology and Biology. i hope to go to Grad school for Genetic Counseling and maybe eventually continue on to a PhD in Health Psychology!
I love school! I would definite study for the rest of my life!
Doctorate in Optometry in 2014. Soooo far awayyyy! And then probably a residency after that. Ugh, even further. I love learning, but I'm fast running out of money.
But, I did manage to complete a BS in Genetics in undergrad. Loved it, it was lots of fun!
I am getting my B.S. in Biology and I still have 2 more years omg.... I changed my major so many times and now I am way behind lol. I love school though so I'm not heartbroken about it. I want to apply to professional school though and go into something like radiology or anesthesiology. I just wanna finish school right now so I can move to another state! I'm so done with Utah!!
I'm an undergrad going for my BAH, majoring in gender studies and minoring in psych. I'm planning to go to teacher's college after I graduate (:
Two more years until I am done with my bachlors in Communications. I am so sick of school, but I'm cramming as much as I can in so it gets done that much quicker. Can't wait to work a "9-5" and have the actual WEEKENDS off.
Im in my first year of my Masters (majoring in English lit). After I finish that Im hoping to go to the States for my PhD.
Currently working on a Business Adminstration AS degree at the local community college. I'm about 65% through, (down to a few gen eds and humanities classes, but all core classes are completed). I'm working full time so this is taking much longer than it should as I'm only a part time student. I too changed my majors a few times and tried a few different schools. But, I've been working on this steadily for 2 1/2 years now.
I'm also attending classes at the same community college for a Certificate in Contracting and Aquisitions. I just started classes for these this Spring, and should be able to have it done in a year to 18 months. I would like to be done with both my Associates and Certificate in 2 years or less.
I haven't decided yet if I will continue on to a BA/BS yet. I have some student loans from a failed attempt at studying Criminal Justice, and we'll see what kind of financial hit these will cause after graduation. I'm refusing to take on anymore student loans if I don't have to.
Currently working on my BS in Biomedical Science (Cell/Molecular Biology). I won't graduate until May 2013 because I changed my major last semester.
I plan to go get my masters in Microbiology and then a PhD in Virology.
Im working on my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing , getting married May 2012 and graduate December 2013!! And hope to pass the boards and have my RN!!
I have one more year until I receive my Master's Degree in Couple & Family Therapy!
