I haven't heard of any shower specific traditions per se, but I know there are some differences as far as weddings are in comparison to the American tradition!
I think just using traditional colombian dishes, and music would be amazing! Perhaps also decorate using the colors of the Colombian flag?!
Colombian's don't have wedding showers. Which is probably why you don't know much about it.
However, you could make it colombian themed by getting some "sombreros volteaos" as favors, serve aguardiente and some colombian dishes such as empanadas, bunuelos and almohabanas.
There's also colombian sodas such as: colombiana and Postobon.

Hi all! im throwing a wedding shower for my girl who is colombian and i wanted to include some crucial colombian touches to her shower. We are both colombians, but were both adopted by americans as babies, so we dont know anything about the culture. Any insight into colombian wedding showers would be amazing. Im thinking about cooking/serving special food, playing special music, gifts that are usually given, any games that are played... i really have no idea. help me out please!
