- Wedding: August 2013
So, in the last month, I’ve changed everything about the wedding but the groom, and now I’m considering changing my colors. We were doing green- I told the girls to pick out any non-full length green dress and nude shoes. None have them have bought one yet…
The guys will be wearing gray suit vests and my groom will be in a jacket. We had orginally picked out black skinny ties to go with the green dresses:
Now we’ve changed our wedding from a barn to a loft (similar to this):
Now I’m starting to wonder if I should put the girls in mismatched navy blue dresses with nude shoes instead of the green to match a more refined venue… The tables will have ivory table cloths with burlap runners, some tables will have wildflowers and some will have tall branch centerpieces. I already have lime sparkle shoes for me that I LOVE so I thought about doing navy with a splash of lime (like lime boutonnieres, lime accents in the branch centerpieces)… For the flowers we are doing wild flowers like this:
I was thinking if I switched I could put the guys in navy skinny ties and my groom in a lime skinny tie (to match my shoes)…
So, should I switch the girls to navy mismatched dresses? If so, should I keep the guys in black ties or move them to navy/lime? Will the navy go well with our flowers?
Thanks for your help!!!
