I don't think anything about cornflower blue seems wintery to me, especially because no one looks at the color of your tux as being a wedding color . . . I wouldn't worry too much about your choice. But, if you are wavering, I think that adding lime green in the mix will definitely give your color palatte a little summer flair. I also think a fuschia, yellow and maybe an orange could worj with light blue.
our wedding palette is slate gray and light blue and ivory. It is in September, and I definitely don't think it comes off ast a winter/ice theme.
I actuall yhave the opposite problem than you, my familiy keeps wanting to adda pop of color and i'm refusing!
I say add in some daffodil yellow. That looks amazing w/cornflower blue. Those two colors look great! Very summery feel.
See? It just is so great together! I love it.

I agree with Bellenga and was going to suggest yellow...sunflower yellow is gorgeous with that blue
im with the yellow or the green! definitely add another color to the palette.
Dont worry tho about changing colors. I originally started as burgandy and gold.. then our bridesmaid dresses ended up being red. So i changed it to red and gold.. then everything i kept looking at had a soft orange... so thats included too!
You do what works for you. And im sure it will look great!
p.s hope you feel better soon!
I love the idea of incorporating the yellow. I think it would be beautiful. Feel better soon
I love the idea of yellow. That would be very summery.

Hey Ladies (sorry for my large number of posts today, I am home not feeling well) ~
I am having some concerns about the wedding colors we have chosen for our July wedding. We had originally thought we wanted a blue and beige color scheme for our wedding, including beige tuxes - but after some thought, we started thinking beige may not photograph as well and decided to do black tuxes and a light, cornflower blue-ish color (we are having a 3pm wedding, but in a formal church so I am now ok with the black) - My concern is that we are now looking a little more at a winter/ice color scheme than a summer/July theme. I spoke with my fiance today and asked if we could add another color into the mix. We are looking at lime green, purple or dark pink to add as an accent color but I am really torn ... will these work? Will they add a summery flare?
Can my fellow bees offer some insight?
