I think going with the lighter color would be good because the red shades would ONLY be able to match with reds because they are bold but the light blue could match with any blue, any pastels, white or black, and and other mix of colors with accents of blue.
From my understanding you can select any color purse and flower that you want. I'd go w/black if you want a useful gift.
Are you planning on them carying then instead of flowers? If so, what color are their dresses?
Or, are they just a gift?
@shushu1208: I think that a lighter color would be more useful overall. After looking at the color swatches- have you considered a gray? its a good neutral and not just your plain black clutch. It would look great with either a red or aqua. Just a thought!
I'm getting my bridesmaids clutches too! I found lovely silver silk ones and I can't wait to give it to them. I agree with kimberlysnyder08 - if they're not going to carry it with them on the day, then a lighter colour will match lots of other things too.

So I am thinking about getting clutches for my girls as part of their gifts, but I can't decide on what color I want them to be. Our colors are red and aqua, and we're thinking about getting our clutches from PoppyPunch on Etsy. I've narrowed down the options to some shade of red (most likely Burgundy or Bordeaux) and light blue (which is the aqua shade). I am currently leaning towards the light blue, but I'm now wondering if they would want to use that color again after the wedding, since it's such a light color. Here are the colors. Thoughts? Which one would you like more? Opinions are appreciated! Thanks in advance!
