I’m trying to decide on my final color palette. I feel like most Bees I’ve seen have done three colors! But I have decided I want a grey/yellow color scheme. Really want to do a bright yellow rather than a pastel, I think. I don’t know….I can’t decide! What else goes with grey and yellow Bees? Or should I just stick with two colors?

What about varying the shades of yellow and gray, or just the shades of gray with your yellow? I love that color scheme! 🙂

You could accent with navy blue – I’ve seen that done with gray and yellow and it looks great. The navy really balances the brightness/boldness of yellow.

@Mrs. Fireworks: Navy sounds great, or small touches of black.

thanks ladies! i like the navy idea, and I know my fiance would love doing a shade of blue (it’s his favorite color). I like the different shades idea also– then I could do bright and pastel yellows and dark or light greys.

my accent colours for my yellow and grey wedding are gold and ivory. I love the colour scheme cause you can use variations of the colours and they still look good!

@Woodstock: That’s my bedspread! My walls are painted jewel-tone teal these days, so I know that color goes well with gray and yellow.
I love the idea of navy for a more preppy vibe, touches of coral would feel pretty fresh, and I even like the idea of a not-too-harsh lime green if you’re shooting for a more modern vibe.

I would do ivory/offwhite.
