Do you have a theme that your colors go along with? How about a silver or gray?
No we just really liked the colors the wine they are wearing is like a purple wine color
Silver looks really nice with it, I did a wedding that was a plum color with silver and it was beautiful. You could also do a lighter shade like lavendar
Thanks for the advice I really needed it does any other colors go good with it?
Gold or champange? if it's more purple than burgandy I would say deep pink or fucsia would pop and look fun if their flowers with the guy's purple and pinks.... is having the girls wear the same color not an option? hope that helps :)
Yup, @CourtneyCrocker, first thing I thought was champagne, or what about a taupe or coffee color?
JCrew's got a spiced wine color available right now. Don't know if it's close to what you had in mind or in your price range, but you might want to take a look. Or try Nordstrom's.
I was going to suggest a pewter or dark charcoal gray or a rich navy blue. I always think navy and wine go nicely since they are in the same family color-wise.
Ooo maybe not for a July wedding though. I'd go with a softer color to balance it out. Maybe you don't want your girls in silver dresses.....pewter still works. I think gold would be LOVELY though. Very rich and jewel-toned
Turquoise/dark teal is also a nice option with wine colors. You have to get a bluish teal so it doesn't borderline christmas. More of a jewel-toned kind. I think you're going to be looking at Nordstrom, Dillards, etc for your dresses though. Good timing since all these cocktail dresses are in =]
I have a wine colored cocktail dress with black lace trim on the bottom and black trim around the top and a sash that is from Ruby Rox. It's stretchy and is really cute. definitely a purple-wine color....

Search by style, color, brand, etc. It'll give you lots of options. This is one of my favorite clothing search engines!
For summer, I would stick to a lighter color. Wine is so rich and sexxy, why not pair it with something whimsy like orange or lime green? Banana Republic has amazing bridesmaids dresses right now in bright and beautiful colors! (http://perfectbound.blogspot.com/2009/05/banana-republic-wedding-perfect-looks.html)
And I also think you could get away with wine and red or magenta if you are a bit creative! See below.
Ok, one more. Real Simple paired wine with grey and pink. Delightful!
Depending on how purple the wine color is, periwinkle or a lighter blue would work.....so would a lavender, pale blue, even a pale green.....I'd say take the swatch of the color the guys are wearing, and go to wear the girls are getting their dresses....the salespeople should be able to steer you in the right direction.....good luck!!!
