I love black, white and yellow! You can incorporate so many fun patterns in that. Very sunny adn summery. Whatever you choose will be lovely.
Whatever you choose will be lovely - but I second pink in voting for the black and yellow. Black is classic and elegant, yellow is cheery and summery, it'll be perfect... Plus, it will stand out more - 4th of July weekend everything everywhere will be decorated in red white and blue, and black and green will be decidedly different and will be definitively 'wedding'...
I do love the black and yellow too ... and yellow stars ... I am smiling just thinking about it!

My wedding is in january. We are also doing a Blue and White theme with silver accents. Our little theme is bells.
The good thing about blue and white is that you can go CRAZY at craft stores after Chuanaka. (tons of ribbon, floral stones, candles etc) I got most of my stuff last year at 80% off. Its amazing.
Since its summer, navy would look pretty too (and it much easier to find than royal blue)
I love the yellow and black idea though too but I'm partial to blue for obivous reasons
I have a hard time with the black and yellow combo. Pretty as it may be, it reminds many a person of bees.
