Have you considered doing both? I know you thought baby shower but hear me out!! Have the BM wear the misty blue (super pretty btw). Do the color scheme of pink and gold, play up the gold a little bit, do the pink and amber uplighting and have neutral flowers (less pink) mix in some pale pale pale blue flowers (hydrangeas) and voila! Make the pink and blue accent colors and have cream and gold main colors and you’re set with Romance all around!! It shouldn’t look like a baby shower since they’re not typical baby blue or pink 🙂

@DGB38:  Why can’t you do pale blue, pale pink, and gold?

Or you can show us a picture of the BM dress and the shade of pink you’re looking for and maybe we can find something very similar for you to try on that does come in that pink you want?

@DGB38:  I think you can definitely do a romantic look with the misty blue dress. To be honest, I prefer it to the pink with your venue.

@DGB38:  I actually really like the three colors together! Pink, blue and gold like the PP mentioned.

@DGB38:  Ok, here’s what I can come up with for similar styles:

Those two didn’t show the other colors they come in, so I’m not sure if they’d come in a pink that works for you.

http://www.allurebridals.com/products/1221 (this one is strapless, but most BM dresses come with thin straps you can put on – not sure if you can make it into a halter though)

    http://www.allurebridals.com/products/1267 (also not a halter)

these come in 3 light pinks – baby pink, orchid, and blossom – click on “view color swatch” to see the colors

@DGB38:  I think the allure ones are the best options because they have 3 very light pinks to pick from. I would say try to find a dress that comes in the pink you’re lookign for that pleases everyone and if you can’t, just switch up the color scheme! Good luck!
