hi ladies, i was wondering if you could help me out a little... i am a wedding jewelry designer and was curious to know what color combos everyone has planned for their upcoming weddings. while i create custom pieces i also like to have popular color selctions available for my trunk shows and bridal expos i exhibit at.
so if you all could kindly let me know what colors you are planning on for your overall wedding scheme and BM's dresses, i would really appreciate the info!
thanks and happy planning!
Lavender, pink, and cranberry.
For my jewelry, I am looking at a Swarovski set that has clear, opaque white, and blue crystals. (Something blue, yes?)
Turquoise, white, and bright orange and pink (the orange and pink will be roses, so not overwhelmingly bright). But I've yet to meet other people with the same color scheme.
Ceremony - Dusty melons, greens and brown with hints of lavender. (outdoor forest wedding)
Reception - Deep purples, dark aqua blues and seafoam greens.(I'm turning a wood barn into an underwater mermaid enchantment feel)
the color that binds these 2 environments are brown.
Bright blue and light blue. But I think for wedding jewelry I might just go with silver....
i'm doing black and white and a bright green
I have heard that grey is the IN color for weddings and bridesmaid dresses this year.
For an October 2008 wedding: black, white, deep blue and emerald green.
I'm having an October 08 wedding and our main color is brown and accents are burgundy, goldenrod and aubergine
Navy is the primary color and the color of the bridesmaid dresses. White, green and yellow or peach accents round it out. I was planning on pearl jewelry, but I want sapphire earrings.
Royal Blue & Silver.
September wedding with celadon green and brown and with fall color accents (think of a maple tree in fall).
April 08 Wedding (yikes less than a month) and I will be doing sage green with spiced wine and gold jewelry.
I'm doing hot pink and lime and I'm getting married labor day weekend of '09.
We're doing varying shades of blue and green, and black.
Shades of blue and navy, chocolate brown & sand and hints of a medium green (not kelly but not sage either) and accents of red or purple. (nautical wedding away from the sea)
October wedding:
Chocolate brown, muted lavender, dusty rose, and creamy white.
November 08 wedding: Chocolate, burnt orange, warm metallic accents like bronze, gold, copper.
i also considered
Chocolate, Caramel, garnet.
Watermelon pink and green, I want to say lime green but its not bright it really is the color of a lime! (make sense)

navy blue and cornflower blue, with accents of silver/grey and yellow. :)
Were getting married in October 2008 and our wedding colors are Black White and eggplant.
Do you have a website where you sell your jewelry?
shades of gold, ivory, champagne, browns and bright blues for a summer wedding... my jewelry will be gold but my bms are going more towards silver. flowes will probably be pinks leaning toward peach.
blues (many shades) and white with hints of yellow and green (summery! June 08 wedding)
fun to see what everyone is planning!
you all have been amazing for the many answers, and there are quite a lot of Varieties at work here! thank you so much for the input, it's been really helpful and inspiring...
because a few of you asked, my website is under construction at the moment, but i have temporarily thrown up some images of my current earring designs on my blog JoieDeVieStyle.blogspot.com, feel free to check it out under the "jewelry tab".
i do also make necklaces, bracelets, and swarovski sandals too. most of the jewelry i make can be custom designed and custom color, plus i can be very flexible to work with your "gift" budget (i cam currently planning my own wedding, i know how it goes!).
if you are in need of gifts for your girls, or your own jewels, i'd be happy to chat with you. my goal is to provide you with high quality, unique jewelry that you & your girls will want to wear long after you say I Do!
thanks,
Blair
Midnight Blue-BM's and GM
