I want to order them in Royal Blue but my fiance thinks that too much color will be distracting....My second choice is a nice deep grey.  Thoughts?

Mrs. Hot Cocoa had purple and silver ones. Check out her posts:

I think it's a super cute idea and not too much color or distracting at all.

that's a  great way to bring color into the ceremony. i wanted to keep in traditional and have my fiance wear a white kippah and to have his groomsman wear black.

I don't think that's too much color... it won't be any more distracting than people who have hair. :) It will look nice to incorporate your colors this way!

I dont think its too much color either.  Can you compromise and get half in royal blue and half in gray?

Maybe gray for your FI and royal blue for everyone else, or vise-versa? i don't think it'd be too much color! :)

I think it's great- but then, I'm having bright fuschia pink and blue ones, so of course I would say that :)  I say do half and half!

Ooh go color! Especially if they match/coordinate with the guys' suits!

How fun! You'll have to show us pics when they come in :)

I think color is a great idea, as well as a mix of both - have fun with this!

You know I love colorful kippot, since I had lilac and silver ones. ;-)  SIL HC had burgundy ones at her wedding, and they were lovely.  We got ours from mazeltops -- they are an adorable, family-run operation and very responsive -- and they had lots of colors.

I'm seconding the suggestion of MazelTops!  We got ours from there.  They were gorgeous, and the service was very fast.

I just want everyone to know (i'm sure you've been waiting on pins and needles ha!)  that we ordered from Mazeltops in a slate blue color.  They are awesome!  Extremely fast shipping.  And our inscription reads "Help! I'm trapped in a yarmulke factory!"
