We will be putting Boulder chips, welcome letter, winter park guide magazine, eldorado springs water, something from the colorado nut company, sunscreen packets, and a smores kit (there is fire pits at my venue) and everyone is invited the night before to make smores.
Anything from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory would be great! It's original store & factory is in Durango (southwestern Colorado).
Depending on where they are coming from (altitude wise), you may want to consider getting a couple tins of Altigens. It's for alititude sickness. It doesn't happen to everyone, but I know a couple people that were visinting for a couple weeks and ended up being out for a few days due to altitude sickness.
Just a thought!! Congratulations :D
you all have great ideas! I would do a post card or something with "mile high", a view of denver, the rocky mountains, etc..
