I really wanted to do a colored crinoline before I even decided on my dress. I was just wondering what everyones opinions are on coloring my crinoline with this dress.

I think it would be a fun touch!  I'm getting married in a Catholic Church, so I'm not doing anything out of the 'norm' but if I were getting married elsewhere I'd spice up the dress!

I think that would be great! I love that look! I had never heard of it before my wedding. . :(

    What colour are you thinking?

I want to do a dark purple. The crinoline at DB doesn't look like it would absorb the color very much, so I'm looking around.

ooo, that'll be so fun!  i love little pops of color like that either in the shoes or crinoline or accessories.

YES!!! Do it. I'm doing mine too but I'm still debating on the color because my shoes are printed. I don't want it too matchy-matchy, but want it to complement my shoes. I think it is a fun way to inject color to the attire.

I read somewhere that you will need to get crinoline that is in rayon or cotton material. Supposedly, polyester does not take to color well. There used to be a seller on Etsy that sold both the crinoline and performed the dying process for $25. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find her. :( If you do, let me know.
