Oooh I think a ruby bracelet would be gorgeous! I love a splash of color on other brides - even colored shoes look lovely too.
I haven't decided on my earrings yet, but was thinking of these from Aurora Collections on Etsy for my something blue.
I am also considering wearing a colored necklace/earrings at my wedding (purple, which will match my bridesmaids). I found a few pics in another thread, but if anyone else has pictures of themselves or other brides wearing colored jewelry, I would love to see some!!
these are the earrings my FI bought me for my birthday. I returned my long chandelier diamond earrings (well fake) for these beauties! I always wanted to wear long dangly ones...but the sentimental value means more to me and this is the exact colors our bridesmaids are wearing. I also will have a violet flower in my hair and my shoes are that color too!

My FI wants to get me this bracelet to wear on our wedding day...
It's our wedding color, my favorite color and has a rough diamond inside the little cage (I'm diamond obsessed). I can't wait to wear this beauty on my big day. My other jewelry (earrings and bracelet (even my dress) are all AB crystals which are various colors in the light)
But I was SOOOO tempted to get this Betsey Johnson necklace:
her stuff is just so cute!
I wore a necklace with blue stones that matched my shoes and my bridesmaids' dresses. It came with matching earrings, but they were a little big/flashy for my taste, so I just wore sparkly silver earrings. Excuse the face in the pic below -- I was trying to choose between two pairs of earrings. Oddly, I love this picture.
Also, here's a pic of the BMs, our friend-officiant, and I so you can see the color of the dresses.

I love colored stones! My wedding band has blue diamonds in it & this blue topaz/sterling bracelet is definitely in the running for final choices on the big day...

@ChaiAnkh99: It's especially helpful to see some pics with the jewelry and the dress together - sometimes it's hard to visualize what the jewelry (especially colored stuff) will look like with the white dress, even if I know I like the jewelry!
This is the jewelry that I am considering:
I don't have any photos, but I found a gorgeous necklace that looks like little black roses. It's GORGEOUS and very sparkly.
I will also be wearing my black elvish love ring and will probably still my blue sapphire on my right hand.
I'm wearing my great-aunt's garnets, plus earrings I bought to match on eBay and a tiara I've made to match them.
I'm the girlin the red dress and I'm wearing the necklace (that's the only photo I have).

hello bees!
I recently inherited a beautiful stash of jewelry from my fiance's grandmother. She had such wonderful taste and i was contemplating wearing a beautiful ruby bracelet on my wedding day that was a favorite of hers. this got me thinking... has anyone else worn/plans to wear jewelry with colored stones on their wedding day? any pix that you can share? :)
