I am either doing a purple tip or a french tip with some kind of purple design on it. Like a small purple stripe below the white tip or a purple flower on my ring finger.
Do it if you want to. I almost did. My shoes were hot pink flip flops (got married in Mexico) and was planning to match my nails to them. at the last minute I opted for a french manicure instead.
If you want to do color but not be too in your face about it, I'd opt for the colored french tip.
I did light pink. It's my favorite color, and I just don't love french manicures.
I said don't, but that's because I think anything close to 'nail' color isn't a color.
I like the idea.. I am going for the french white tip.. I was considering painting it red to match my dress but thought it would be an overkill of red. I'm also considering some diamante on the nail along with the french manicure.
Blush pink for me. I think OPI's pinkadoodle.
I had OPI's not so bora bora-ing pink with pink shoes so I definitely say it's a do. I loved my nail color!
when youre asking about color, are you talking about greens and blues? or are you talking about pinks and peaches? ill prob go with a blush pink or something along those lines.
I'm planning on wearing my usual color - OPI's I'm Not Really A Waitress. I feel weird wearing any other color!
I'm doing a dark color. Probably OPI Ink. I think dark nails, when done right, look very chic and elegant. And I'm really just not a fan of french manicures or acrylics on my hands, personally.
I would stick with the whole nail being a color and not just the tips
I personally don't wear nail polish very often on my fingers (I shouldn't wear it at work)
Because I hate when nail polish does not look perfect and colour (less natural) is more apparent when it chips that drives me crazy.
That being said I love different colours on my toes
I'm doing Bubble Bath (OPI) for my fingernails
and Houston we have a Puple (OPI) for my toes :)
I love nail polish!! hehe
I'll probably stick to a French tip on my (finger)nails, but I'm toying with the idea of blue toe(nail)s--for my something blue, of course.
I will likely do my standard French or a light neutral colour. I personally would stick to a solid colour or a traditional French (no designs or strangely coloured tips, they just look weird to me). Matching your nails to your coloured shoes could actually be really cool, I like the idea.
Don't, but only because I never wear nail polish on my nails. I hate how it chips off, and then it takes me 3 weeks to stop being lazy and take the rest off! :)
I had hot pink nails, and it was awesome. Basically nobody will notice your nails - do it for you, not for what people will think!
I am definitely doing color...probably blue, or a plum. Anything else is hust not me!
I'm going a pale pearly pink for my nails and a tiffany blue for my toes.
Doing this for nails:

And probably this for toes:

Im in a pastel phase right now, can you tell lol
Haven't decided on fingernails, maybe just a french tip? Toes - I love color! Esp if I'm wearing anything with a peep toe. As far as what color, no idea yet lol!
I did a pale pink. However, several of my BMs had OPI Ink (yea, Ms Sea Lion!) and I almost changed them. One of the FGs picked it out for her mom and it looked great with the BM dresses.
I am not a fan of acrylic french manicures or colored-tip french so I would say no to that. If that's your style--do it!
I think Im going to do a pale pink or something. I would be nervouos of chipping with a bright/dark color. I have a tendancy to chip my nails when they are painted, and this is less noticable with lighter colors.
I'm not into french manicures, but I still want to be classic- so I'm thinking a very pale pink color or a pink-taupe...something like that.
I like colored nails expecially if it matches your shoes... and double expecially if its a pink color lol
@Sschaf: I mean anything that changes the color of your nail. everything from black to white
I say, do whatever you want! I had a friend who wore a red polish on her wedding day 15 years ago. It's what she wanted, so I say go for it!

is it a do or a don't?
Would you do it with colored shoes?
What about a colored french tip?
would you post a picture of why you said what you said?
