I'm totally going for hot pink! I needed to have in myw edding some where.. so my shoes will be it! go for it :)
@MrsNerdy: Wear ivory shoes and paint or glitter paint the bottom of your shoes pink. Cute photo opportunity, when your standing it looks completely normal, yet you have pink.
@LovebirdsSC: thats a really cute idea! thanks!
Your shoes don't have to match your wedding colors. My shoes are going to be blue, there is no blue in my wedding colors at all. Go with what you love!
I had a white/cream, grey and chartreuse color scheme but wore red shoes as an "inside" joke that I claimed to my mom I was going to wear ruby slippers to my wedding as a little girl. Ended up I married an canadian police officer so my shoes and his coat were the only two red things at the wedding.
I think you should wear what you love!
go for it..or another idea... wear ivory shoes and dye your slip pink..i dyed mine super easy and loveee that i will be able to show a POP of color when i want.. and not when i dont :)
go for pink!!! do not succumb to the matchy matchy mentality. :-)
My shoes ended up matching the color scheme BUT they were my very first wedding purchase before I even thought about colors. I was going to wear them no matter what colors we ultimately chose.
I just asked this question today, without realizing this post was here. I'm having the exact same dilemma, right down to the color pink! Everyone has advised me to go pink, so that's what I'm going to say for you, too! We may be able to get more use out of them this way.
I am having the same dilemma! No purple in our wedding at all, but I found a pair of purple heels that I am in LOVE with and would go with my dress so well! Do I wear the color or will it look weird cause there is no other purple anywhere?

Okay so here is my shoe story.
My bridesmaids are wearing champagne dresses, and I've officially decided that they will pair that with bright shoes (two in orange, two in turquoise, and two in gold) that match my wedding colors
(here is my inspiration for that:)
I love it. I do like how the bride's shoes are ivory so they are more bridal.
BUT I am a very pink person, and I have not included pink in the wedding AT ALL. I really like the idea of doing my shoes pink. I like warmer pink, so like pomgranite or padpardasha pink.
Would this be odd?
I keep going back and forth.
