I'd like to wear fun shoes with my gown. Should I match them with the bridesmaids' dresses or just do something fun an original? What colors are you wearing for shoes, Bees?

I am still looking for a pair of sexy purple heels.
i think you can do either of those options, i have seen both and both look great! i love to match so i looked everywhere for purple shoes, but couldnt find any i liked, so i went with silver. but i saw a bride once with blue shoes. but it seemed the rest of her wedding colors were green and brown.
All my bridesmaids will be in diffrent colors so im just choosing a color I want. And that i would wear again!
My shoes will be blue and bridesmaids will be in yellow. I don't think they need to match - have fun!
I have been set on wearing blue shoes which don't match my BM's in the slightest. But I haven't been able to find a single pair that suit me up to this point. So I might just say "F- it" and buy some pewter shoes that will match my girls....
I wore hot pink shoes, my girls wore different shades of pink/orange.

They were 3.5 inches and SO COMFORTABLE. They are Jeanette from Me Too, who puts cushy padding on the bottom of their shoes and they were (and currently are) on sale for $62 bucks!

I'm wearing pink shoes and so are my girls! They will all be different shoes, but pink nonetheless.
Here are mine:
I wore purple (sangria) color shoes that matched my BM's dresses and I loved them! Guests squealed when they saw the pop of color under my dress as I walked! It was great.
@pinkandsparkly - I LOVED my Menbur shoes on my wedding day - love seeing more Menbur brides! :)
I LOVED my bright blue shoes! They were my Something Blue, very comfortable. Bmaids were in navy, so it wasn't a match.
I'm wearing these orange ones, which is a wedding color... but the girls are wearing aqua dresses, and I have no idea what color shoes, since I didn't dictate or ever ask :)
I want to find a pair of dark purple shoes. My mom was appalled at the idea of wearing a colored shoe. I think the pop of color adds something personal, flirty, and fun though.
Here are mine!
They are Dyeables Gianna in royal blue. I am so in love with them...they're my Carrie shoes! I have platform flip flops that are one inch shorter for the reception. The shoes don't match what my bridesmaids are wearing. I just really, really wanted blue wedding shoes 
I'm wearing blue shoes, almost got a beautiful pair of fuschia shoes but I couldn't get them in Canada. I absolutely LOVE the coloured shoe look though.
I plan on wearing purple shoes as well, I'm just searching to find that perfect pair! I've also heard that David's Bridal can match the exact color of your bridesmaids dresses and accent color if received from there and they can die your shoes.
I'm pretty excited. My best friend was supposed to get married last year and I told her I was wearing purple shoes as the bridesmaid, so I've been excited about this FOREVER! lol.
Just wear whatever color makes you happy and you feel best in!
My bridesmaids will be in black and my shoes are red, so they do not match. My bouquet will be red, though! It goes more with our color palette of black and white with red accents. I love my shoes!
OH, and and on the DIY page, there are a lot of girls bedazzling and bejeweling their shoes. I'm starting to LOVE that idea:)
OMG these shoes are awesome! I am going colored shoes as well. But am having a hard time locating dark purple heels that aren't crazy high.....any suggested websites to go to?
My bridesmaids are in dark red (oops, I think it's a little more brown than I'd hoped-- so it goes). Flowers will probably be yellow. Or white and yellow.
Or red and yellow or blue and yellow. Whatever.
My shoes are blue and gold.
But my dress is long. Who'll see them? They don't need to match!
I'm wearing purple heels, and my girls are in purple dresses with black heels. So we're sort of coordinated but not really. My shoes are Stuart Weitzman's Turalu.
My BMs will be in dark purple (Alfred Angelo grape) and I plan to wear shoes in a slightly brighter purple - IF my custom shoes ever actually ship.
My BMs and I all bought the same dyable shoes. They dyed theirs black and mine are dyed hot pink to match their dresses. I LOVE that I'm getting to wear them because they match and because they are comfy. We also got my flower girl shoes which are the same color as mine.... I can't wait for the picture of she and I in our white dresses and hot pink shoes :)
I don't see why you couldn't do fun shoes. A "step-cousin" of mine wore these sky-blue plaid Converse and it was cute with her dress. I don't know if she paired them with her bridesmaid's dress, but it was this whole cute surprise wedding they did.

I wore bright purple flats and DH wore purple socks. We had out photographer take a super cute picture too but havent gotten our professionals yet. In this pic you can see my shoe peeking out. LOL
endless.com is a great website for finding wedding shoes - They have a ton of search options. You can search by color, heel height, etc. And they have free shipping! Even though it's still about 10 months away, I will probably end up getting my wedding shoes from there :)
