    My dress is black with white polka dots! I look HORRIBLE in white and am not comfortable wearing an expensive dress around in the woods for 8 hours! LOL If you want some color Alfred Angelo has some really pretty white dresses with a splash of color and they are reasonably priced! 🙂

    Mine is an ivory dress with green along the top of the dress and goes to the laces in the back and that thing behind the laces.  I didn’t like any of the plain white/off-white dresses on me, so the contenders all had color – one was a light gold dress – fabulous!

    I love color but I think my wedding dress looks so pretty without it.  Those who dare to dream in color go for it!! : )

    I so thought about a dress with some color in it.  But didn’t get it. I was convinced by "more traditional people" that I looked better in the white dress.  I’m not syaing they weren’t being honest.  And I’m not saying that looking back I made a bad choice.  But if someone is really feeling like a dress with color is "the one"  I think it’s a great way to be unique and express yourself.

    Black isn’t really a colour, but my dress is white with black details. I initially was deadset against any dresses that weren’t white because the look I was going for was classic and glamourous (along the lines of Audrey Hepburn, because she was the epitomy of classic and glamourous). Colour didn’t seem to fit that idea for me until I saw my dress hanging in a dressing room at a bridal shop and immediately wanted to try it on. I definitely think that you should go with your intuition and wear what you love!

    I originally looked at pale pink dresses.  Turns out, I am also pale pink.  🙂  So I looked quite nekkid.  I was at a standstill, b/c I had sorta based everything around this pale pink-ness.  Then I tried on a silk dress that was undyed, just natural.  Done and done.  So technically I suppose I have a white/off-white dress, but that wasn’t my intention.  🙂

    @Grey…LMAO. That’s too funny!

    I’m wearing light grey actually…something along the line of this picture, but not exactly. Isn’t she lovely?

    i have my heart set on red!  but we’ve just begun to consider having a single dw wedding rather than one in my home country – and one in my FI’s.  should we marry in hawaii/the caribbean, i may settle for yellow. =)
