Above Harrisburg about 20 minutes- Peter's Mountain/Appalachian Trail usually has some long lasting fall colors if you have trouble pinning down a specific time. Early October seems the best in my mind
@Knubbsy-Wubbsy: Yeah I was thinking October... then I was looking through October pictures of mine and noticed most of the leaves were gone... Maybe the 1st week would be best (most of my photos were around Halloween- lol)
@HappilyEverAfter54: Some trees in my neighborhood starting dropping really early (August early) but in general the oaks and whatnot seem to drop in mid October
@Knubbsy-Wubbsy: We started losing leaves last month due to lack of rain... some of the poor tree's just couldn't hold on. Now we keep getting rain... lol

I'm trying to figure out when the leaves would be best for taking our fall engagement photos when the leaves are most colorful but before they begin falling around Centralia.
