@marinesfiance:  Why not use mypapershop.com to order poly lined paper tablecloths?  They are only $2-4 each and they look and feel great, plus they photograph well.  there are a few shades of blue that will probably work depending on what aqua you are thinking of.  I ordered turquoise for my wedding and it is pretty much exactly the bright blue pictured on their site.  I’ll post some pics after my wedding.  This was one area I was super happy to save money on.

@marinesfiance:  What size tables are you using?

Efavormart has turquoise cloths in both 120 and 132″ for #12.28 and $14.99 respectively.

Tableclothsfactory has them for $11.99 and $13.99

Also remember to check http://www.Adhuntr.com for used cloths.

I actually prefer shorter tablecloths. When they reach the floor I’m always tripping over them or pulling them or having to crawl under them to find my purse. Especially for a garden wedding, I’d go shorter!

@marinesfiance:  Nope.  They photograph just like the cloth ones and you can spend the money elsewhere.  My stepmom couldn’t even tell they were paper because they are textured to look and feel like cloth.  Hre are some examples I found:

my colors are teal and purple. I ordered a teal tablecloth from this website that waa cheap and it came to my house as aqua. In the pic online it looks  teal, like dark more towards green real teal. But the color I got was light more towards blue aqua. I called the company and they said their teal and aqua is the same color? Which I don’t know how because the two pictures on the website are completely different colors. So I would order just one to see what the color really is.

For a garden wedding, I’d go with the shorter tablecloths.  If you don’t see a need to cover the chairs when using a floor length tablecloth, why cover them when using a shorter one?  Either way, you’ll still see the chair.

@marinesfiance:  Something I’ve seen is having floor length tablecloths with a shorter tablecloth on top. Or you could do navy floor length linens and rent or make aqua runners! I’ve seen paper runners that look really nice. You could make aqua chalkboard paint (there are tutorials online for colored chalkboard paint–I think by using actual chalk and mixing it into paint that you could color match to your dream shade of aqua) and make paper runners which you could write guests names on! Honestly, you need floor length no matter what. Rental tables are HIDEOUSSSSS. You will want to cover those things up completely.

@marinesfiance:  Even white/ivory tablecloths would look beautiful with an aqua runner! You could get navy napkins! If you hate the chairs, you could look into pricing for chairs like these — I splurged on Chiavaris but I know these were much more affordable!
