I’m trying to decide on colors. I like pretty simple styles and was originally thinking of black, white and a deep purple before I chose the venue. But I wasn’t set those. Our venue has gold and brick walls, wood beams and wood floors. I’ve attached a pic also.
Our venue provides either burgundy, black, bright blue, white or gold and burgundy swirl linens at no charge with either gold chivari chairs or white folding chairs. I’m leaning towards black linens but when i looked at the venue they had it set up with black linens and gold chairs and seemed kind of dark.
I just have no idea. Any suggestions?

If you prefer simple designs, then I’m guessing the swirl pattern linens are probably not for you! I agree that if you went with black it would look pretty dark, unless you had a lot of candles on each table, plus white plates and such to balance it out. Actually with the color of those walls, I would want to recommend solid burgundy linens. Burgundy is similar to deep purple I think, but just on the “warm” side of the color wheel, so it wouldn’t be like you’re changing your wedding colors very drastically. You’ll probably have an easier time finding flowers to go with burgundy anyway. (My colors are navy blue and silver, and my options for dark blue flowers were extremely limited, so I learned my lesson!)
