Are you talking about the mermiad color from David's Bridal? If so, then that would be a teal or a darker turquoise.
Just goodle that and a ton of stuff comes up. Instead of googling mermaid, which is just what David's Bridal calls that shade of teal, call it teal.
And just go to Nationwide tux rental stores like American Commodore or whatever and they have all of their colors for you to look at.
@JM1217: Yes, the mermaid from DB. The issue is when typing teal, turquoise, aqua, etc. nothing comes out to the right tone I am looking for to match DB's mermaid
Regardless of what color you choose as your colors, everything will always be a shade or so off. I'm doing turquoise and creamsicle orange. My BM dresses and the swatch I got for the GM's tuxes are a couple shades off. The orange of the roses I'm carrying is not the same orange as the centerpieces. it would impossible to get everything the exact same color, especially flowers, unless they are fake and you paint them the exact colors and the exact shade to match.

AAHH wedding planning is so not for me hahah
Getting married July 2012, finally narrowing down some bridesmaid dresses. They will be floor length charcoal (taffeta so it shiiiines!) and have a mermaid sash. MOH will have a bright pink (pomegranite) sash.
Trying to find the perfect palette that I am imagining in my head, but I can't find anywhere online. I can't find the perfect way to search for the color mermaid without finding mermaid style dresses! Any suggestions??
Next... Flowers.
I imagine the bouquet to be round and full. No leafy greens in it. I want the bouquets to have pinks, mermaid colors (?? what do i call it in a search?_ and whites to match the style of the dresses. I can't find anything online to help me picture it. Any one have any help?
Should I just choose new colors? I love the mermaid color and I want to know if anyone else has had trouble finding it in decorations or fake flowers or anything like that.

I am imagining a black tux, charcoal vest and mermaid tye. But can't find it anywhere. Can you? DOes it sound like it would look okay?
