I should also say that michelle at invitedesigner.com is being really nice about sending samples of every shade of paper and ink that might make my mother happy... They do charge for your initial sample order, but apparently will send many, many things for free after that. And they respond really fast to email requests.
It is not essential that everything match. Especially STDs. Many brides have not even made final decisions on their colors when they send their STDs.
As for invites, BM dresses & flowers, etc., as long as you use the same primary color, it is OK to have several different accent colors.
And remember, it is YOUR special day. Do what pleases you (and your fiance, of course.) ![]()

I thought I had decided on a set of colors and an accent color that goes great with our venue. Now somehow my mom thinks that everything has to be in those colors and those colors only. And my FI keeps liking accent colors (and ink colors, we are picking invitations) that are lovely but not in the color scheme.
Do I need to change accent colors? Is it absolutely essential that your STDs match your invitations match your BM dresses and flowers? Help!
