    Bees,

I have posted about this problem but this is the first time I am able to post pics about it. I have to admit even after the mockups I am still confused.

You will see the pics but heres the problem. I was originally gonna go with white votive candles on the sand in the vase. But then one of my BM's(future SIL) suggested orange votive candles instead. I am open to it which led me to a mockup.

I showed the pics to a good friend and a aunt. One picked the white and the other picked the orange. I thought one color would stand out to everyone and they each would pick one color.lol Now Im as confused as ever. They both look good, as far as I can tell, but I cant make up my mind. One person suggested I interchange the colors one different tables, but I dont think that would look good.

So I guess it all comes up to what I like, but I dont KNOW what I like. lol

So any thoughts would be appreciated. Oh and the wedding is in the fall and the main colors are orange and brown. Yes I am embracing the fall colors.lol. Oh and I  also put in a pic of the paper lanterns I plan on using. So u get a better idea of the reception.

    Anyway, thanks for the help.

Make a poll if you can!

Generally, I like white, but I think the orange looks really nice with the petals. :)

I like the orange too!  However, if you wanted, you could even split it (some orange, some white).

I like the white candles better. The orange ones look too much like candy corn. Also, are your tables going to be square like this or round?

@ssparban:Thanks. I added a poll. And I love those sparkly things too. I wasnt sure of those either but when I saw how they look in the mockups I plan on keeping those. By the way they are diamonds found at the Micheals craft store.

I like orange the best but I think it would look good to do different colors at different tables!

@Ms.Dachshund:Oh, lol. No its just a small coffee table. Its what was available at the time. The tables that will be used is those long rectangular tables that people see everywhere.

Q: Are your colors strictly orange and brown? I have paired deep red with orange before and it was smashing.

Between white and orange: I like both equally. I can see why you're struggling with this. :)

I like them both but for different reasons.  I like the orange because it is a little something different and unexpected but I like the way the white stands out.  I think I need to vote orange though because it is so unique.

@Chery_L:I actually tried the red too. My friend just got married a little over a week ago and a few of us stayed the night together plus the bride. She wanted to see how my onw wedding plans are coming along so she aske me to bring my stuff and show her. So I decided that that would be a good time for a mockup.Thats y I had to use a coffee table. ANyway I bought my smaples candles at Walgreens and when I told her what I was planning on doing, she suggested trying the red. I tried it. It just didnt look right. WIth the brown and orange.

Though I will be trying to put a version of purple in other parts of the reception.

Like with my kids activity bags. Heres the link to that.

@Earlybride: I realize that came out a little rude. I loooove that you are embracing fall colors. Im an October bride as well and would have done those colors if FI would have been down with it. I just think the white keeps it from being too matchy matchy. But either color will look fab!

And now, all of a sudden Im thinking of doing another mockup. I need to get another color in there. SOmeone told me about a week ago that if I do try to add another color to this, it shouldnt be a loud color. She said that brown and orange are loud colors. So she said that I would need to put a soft color in there.sigh....it would be cool to see if I could find a purple petal. But if I ever would put that color petal in there, I would sprinkle only a few in with the orange petals. A soft purple? Anyway I will check out Micheals and see what they have.

Purple is a loud color right? Oh well. We'll see.

I think it would be fine to alternate between tables but I pick the white if you don't want to alternate. I think the orange is too matchy matchy with the brown.. the white breaks it up nicely.

My other thought for a third color was a soft blue. Give that a whirl and see what you think.

I just tipped the 50-50% to 51% orange. Boom.
