I am having trouble choosing my wedding colors…please help! The wedding venue is a gorgeous Red Barn in a country setting. What colors would go well with this setting, and not clash with the bright red barn (the wedding will be outside in a field, and the reception inside the barn). Here is a link to the venue, which includes photos:
I am hoping to start looking for bridesmaides dresses and table decor soon, so I must decide on colors!

How about a sunflower yellow, and some kind os shade of green with white. Oh and yellow roses might be better for you if you don’t like sunflowers, or any yellow flower, bu the shade of a sunflower.
Or I see a lot of people do Red and Aqua.

I love the idea of yellow and maybe an apple green.

yeah, i do think something along yellow, orange, apple green would be nice contrast for the red barn. even pastel colors like peach, light blue, baby pink can be a nice combination:)

For flowers, I would love to use peonies…they will be in bloom in June and they have always been one of my favorites.
A few color combos I am thinking of:
Navy/white with lime accents
Navy/white with pink flowers
I love these invites and hope to use them….
We want to have a ton of fun/DIY details. We want to create a relaxed feel to our country setting, without compromising understated elegance.

What a gorgeous venue!
My first thought was yellow, too. You could go with a lighter or brighter shade if it’s summer, or more of a golden shade for fall. I would definitely mix in a third (and even fourth) color. You could stay in the warm colors, and do a range of red-orange-yellow (would be beautiful in the fall, with a touch of deep green to bring in nature), or throw in a complementary color like apple green (for summer) or teal (for fall).
I used to love the red and aqua combo, but now I’ve seen it so much that it’s starting to look dated already!
Here are some boards that might help you get a feel for what you like:
