I’m trying to get a visual for the color scheme in my head. I just picked 5 colors on the My Pantone app for iPhone, and then emailed them to myself (I find the site online confusing, which is why I used the app, bc the app seems easier to me). Anyway, I emailed the colors to myself and they look TOTALLY different on my computer screen than they did on my phone. I love them on my phone and on my computer screen it doesnt even look like they go together!
Does anyone have a color website they really like for finding color swatches? I want to be able to email the scheme to my moms and my DOC and stuff.
I never knew colors were so difficult.

colors seem to vary onine depedning on the computer or phone in your case. What we did was we went to a craft store, and found ribbons in the colors we wanted. We bought a yard of each color, and then we can just cut a sample off for each of the people that need them. You could do the same with actual fabric swatches….

You’ll get a better idea if you print them out in CMYK. Computer screens are typically RGB, which can really mess with how the colors look.

Both are good ideas, although I have no idea what CMYK vs RGB means. I think I will go the fabric store route just to have something tangible. Thanks ladies!

You can also go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and grab paint chips that you love!

@ktbrady: Computer resolution varies from computer to computer the only way to find the perfect colors is by calling the place and ordering a swatch
