Beautiful ring btw!!

I think its best to go try on the bands at the store against your e-ring and see if you can see a color difference and how you feel about the “mis”match.

My set is actually two different metals (platinum and 10k white gold), Honestly I could not see the difference in the color, so to me it was not visiable to the naked eye. My wedding band has micro prong half eternity diamonds going around it so no one really sees the metal on the band itself. The jeweler did tell me that over time with my set, that with wear and tear the color difference may be more apparent so assuming that is correct, something to consider.

From far away you might not see the different in color but closely you may.  I think you will see more of color difference is you turn your E-ring upside down because the side on your palm will get scratched a lot and show wear (more yellowish) while platinum wedding band will get more patina (more greyish).  I noticed that on my friend’s ring.  She has platinum engagement ring and channel set wedding band in white gold.  Only time I can see the difference is when I turned her wedding band around and compared with her platinum engagement ring.
