@SadieBee: well, i am getting married near Marietta and I am using DJ Associates, and they are out of Marietta. That's not too far from Athens. They are great. Also, a sister company, Event Designs, will do lighting and decorating for the event.
We just worked with Mark Dantzer for my sisters wedding and he was perfect! Not cheesy at all. I would have booked him for mine, but he was already booked for my date.

A question for the Ohio brides out there - do you have any recommendations for any good, non-cheesy DJs in the Columbus area? I live in Athens (about an hour away) and I'm figuring that searching in the Columbus area is my best bet. In my preliminary research online, though, all I'm finding are lame websites for DJs who seem like total cheeseballs. Any gems out there who you've worked with?
