I told my BMs to pick any colour of blue, and they ended up 3 with navy, 3 with royal blue. I thought it looked really pretty :)

You are awesome! I actually have that first picture saved from when I was looking for inspiration pics of this look, but I didn't realize the ones in back were in royal! Did you have them line up every other? Thank you!
I didn't line them up in any particular order other than the girl at the front of the second photo needed to go down first because she was singing me down the aisle, so she needed to be close to the band, and my sister (on my right in the first photo) was my MOH, so she went last. Other than that I really didn't care or give thought to what colour went where, LOL!
Here's a few more shots for you just in case you don't find any others:

I think you should either have a mix of navy and royal blue (since one girl already bought a royal dress), or have a mix of blues (so basically the remaining two would get blues other than navy). I would hate to ask a bridesmaid to have to buy another blue dress, unless she can return the royal one, especially since she was following what she was told originally. What length are you looking for? I've seen lots of knee length dresses in different blues, so I was just curious.
I'm also trying to sell some royal blue dresses that my bridesmaids didn't end up wearing (we switched to purple), if any of your girls are interested. The price is negotiable: http://classifieds.weddingbee.com/topic/new-jordan-741-blue-bridesmaids-dresses

Hi all,
I am letting my bridesmaids pick their dresses in any color of blue, from anywhere... However, I was hoping they would all wear different color blues, and they are finding a lot of navy dresses. So far, 2 of my 5 bridesmaids bought navy dresses, and another 1 bought a royal dress. The other two are pregnant, and are finding a more limited selection of dress colors (esp outside of bridal stores!)... and asking about navy.
I tend to like royal/cobalt blues the most, and my fiance likes more baby blue or just a little darker... We want to be laid back with color since we really like all blues - but we didn't pick navy as our color and I don't want all navy dresses, even if it would be easier. I am considering letting my MOH get navy, and asking the other to get royal - and if she can't find it - asking one of the already bought, non-pregnant navy girls to swtich to royal.
So - any thoughts on my dilemma? Should I stick to my 'different blues' idea, or be easier and go 2 royal/3 navy? Does anyone have any pics of a bridal party with navy and royal dress split to show me what it would look like?
Also, anyone have any great resources for blue formal maternity dresses?
Thanks!
