Hi everyone...I went dress shopping with my mom and my sister last week for the first time. It was just impulsive, my sister called me and asked if I wanted to go dress shopping since my mom was at her house (my parents live an hour south of me and my sister lives an hour north of me). I just wanted to try on dresses...I was not prepared to fall in LOVE with the first dress I tried on. It's funny because when the sales lady brought out the dresses, she walked past by my mom and my mom said "I don't like them" but when I walked out with the first dress on, she was like oh just buy that dress. I didn't buy the dress last week because 1) I was not expecting to buy a dress that day and 2) I kind of wanted to sit on it for a week and see if I still liked it. I went back today and tried it on...and I LOVE it. It's a Sottero and Midgley Geraldine. My sister took these pics today when the sales lady went to find a veil for me (they didn't allow you to take pictures). She told me that it will be in in late June, early July. Hopefully it will come in on time.
Thanks everyone!!! It's about a size too big, so hopefully it will look even better once the right size comes in. I'm so excited to wear it...but now I have to stop looking at dresses before I get buyer's remorse.
Thanks! It makes me look skinny...I don't even need to lose the 15lbs that I wanted to lose. =D

Thanks everyone! For those of you that have Magge Sottero and Sottero and Midgley dresses...how long did it take for your dresses to come in? I read somewhere 10 months, read somewhere here 8 months, and the store told me it will be in at the end of June or July. I don't know if I'll be able to wait until October to wear this!!

@KeyWest114: Thank you! I love it but I kind of wish I tried a lot more dresses on. This dress was just so pretty and so within my budget that I couldn't say no. Funny thing is my sister ended up buying the first dress she tried on too.

Hello, dress twin!!! I must agree that the dress is gorgeous because I bought the same one! (My salesgirl didn't even have the dress all the way on me yet and I knew it was The Dress!) You look amazing in it! I see that you also live in NJ... did you buy your dress at Jaehee in Englewood?
Also, don't worry about buying the first dress you tried on... I tried on a good 30 dresses at other salons before I found the Geraldine dress. You lucked out big-time!
@Skoochabelle: hi! yeah i did buy the dress at jaehee bridal :) how long did it take your dress to come in? they're telling me end of june/early july, and i ordered the dress in the beginning of february.
@Michelleivy: Sorry for the delay, I just saw your post! I ordered my dress in mid-November (I think?) and it is shipping on April 30, should be at the salon May 5. Cutting it close since my wedding is June 2, but they are assuring me that it will be OK! I already scheduled my first and second fittings even though the dress isn't in yet. If they told you early July, you'll have no problem at all for October. :-)
