The best money I've spent hands down is my coordinator www.thomasbui.com . I was a catering director so I am calling in a lot of favors, so my planning has been a little different. Are you planning on having an indoor or outdoor reception? Balboa Park has several great places. San Diego has so many options, for me it was best to start with the theme and go from there.
USD has a Special Events Program that has great talent. You may want to look there for extra help.

I am saddened by the lack of action on our fantastic San Diego board.
So, as an attempt to kick-start the board into action, i have some questions:
I have been living in the Bay Area for the past three years (I was in San Diego prior to these past three and I have been in San Diego very often throughout the time... FI is here plus both of our families... and the wedding will be here in San Diego)
That being said, most of the wedding resources I know of are in the Bay Area and I would really like to start making relationships and such down here.
Do any of you ladies have any great recommendations for the San Diego area? Anything: rings, dresses, locations, vendors, etc etc. I am planning a summer 2009 wedding and would like to get started on stuff while I'm in San Diego for the summer.
Thanks all! and let's keep this board hoppin'. :)
