I just ordered my son a pair of headphones from SkullCandy.com. I heard, from a female, that they are really nice.
@Cheeks11: They are pretty nice, but I'm actually looking for a higher price point. My last pair of skullcandys broke from daily use for maybe 8 months. I hear they come with a warranty that I did not keep so try to keep that on hand in case anything happens.
@arenyth: The Beats headphones by Dr. Dre get really good reviews. They have a couple different sizes/styles of over ear, on ear and in ear headphones. I saw them at Best Buy and you can try them on to see what fits you best.
@cola: I do have my eye on those :) But they are a little above my price range lol. I tried them on in store and they were comfy and they had really good noise cancellation. If I had the money I'd totally get those.
just got these for my birthday:
I LOVE them!!! they're sooo comfortable and the sound is so crisp that when you watch tv shows, it sounds like it's happening inside your ear.
I got Sony ones from Target for $35 and I have had them for 2 years now. I have never had a pair last more than a few months without breaking. They are so comfortable that I have fallen asleep with them in and it comes with three different ear sizes (I have small ears so thats important). They are coated in some kind of really soft rubber that makes them more comfortable.
@pamplemousse: ah I really love the detachable cord! I actually found these earlier today and I'm debating getting them, they look so cool:

and these which are the smaller versions:

@arenyth: both of them are super cute! but the pink ones look kinda big? like they would cover a lot more area than your ears? you should try to find them at a best buy or something and try them on first for comfort :)
@pamplemousse: thats because theyre over ear headphones, so they dont crush your ears - I agree though I'm hoping I can find them in store because I dont want to look like a cartoon character with these giant things on my head

I really want to get a good pair of headphones- since we ladies have smaller heads (at least most of the time?) I figured this might be a good place to ask - what kind of headphones does everyone wear?
I can't wear ear buds because they just make me itch, they fall out and are easily lost. And I just love the over ear headphone look. I'd love it even more if they were fashionable, but I am really mostly worried about comfort. Either its too tight and my ears are red after a couple hours, or they fall off my head.
