So I just found the dress! Haven’t gotten it yet, still want to try it on with the sash I ordered off Etsy to make sure that it’s the ONE!
But now that that part’s basically over, I’ve been thinking about shoes. I’m pretty short.about 5’3″ and my Fiance is 6′ so heels are a must, at least for ceremony, pictures, and the first dance with him and then with my dad who is also tall. I have worn heels before but have never spent much on them because they just hurt SO much. I may have slightly wider feet, they alwas hurt my baby toe and the balls of my feet always hurt soo much. I don’t need a super high heel, but at least 3ish inches would be nice. I’m nervous to buy pricy heels and then have them hurt just as bad as any other pair. So anybody have this issue? I don’t really want to spend much more than $150 and while I’m not too picky about the color ( i would sacrifice style for comfort at this point, my dress will cover them for the most part) I would like them to come in different colors so that I can choose.
Thanks so much

if you care about comfort mainly, go with camper’s. it’s a spanish brand that specializes in comfortable shoes, and they have great style.
they’re made with comfortable materials, and covered with good fabrics.
I don’t own any pairs, but I’ve borrowed black pumps from a friend and they are seriously A-MAZING. much better than designer, comfort-wise.

Have you tried on any Sofft brand shoes or Cole Haan with Nike Air technology?
They are both very comfortable.

i feel your pain, i also have wide feet that dont like heels for more than an hour or so. im lucky though as me and FI are similar heights so im wearing flats.
HOWEVER – if i were looking for heels i would look for something that was this general shape :
sling back and peep toe so still girly and pretty, platform so not all the height is in the heel and a wedge. i find i can always wear wedges for a helluva lot longer than i can normal heels.
hope you find some lovely shoes!!!x

Clarks have really comfortable padded heels and some are very pretty too. They also do wider sizes if you need it.

I have a pair of 3 3/4in pumps from Chinese Laundry and I can wear those things all day. And I don’t wear heels often.
