Hi! Cole Haan has an entire bridal collection, and I swear by how comfortable their shoes are. I have numerous pair of Cole Haan's heels (up to 4 inches) and wear them walking all over downtown DC. All of the shoes in their bridal collection are their "Air" shoes - they contracted with Nike to put the Nike Air pads in their shoe soles (you can't see them) - and they are really cute - here's a link:
try heylady shoes. they're 3-4 inches and supposed to be super comfortable. somebody blogged about them recently, but I was coveting them long before! haha. here's the site:
(beware...they're too cute and way too pricey!)
Hey Lady shoes are supposed to be super comfortable as well:

I've got my eye on the Breakfast at Tiffany's pair, but I think they are all really cute. Good luck!
I second Cole Haan. They have a bridal collection (that is dyeable if you need a different color). Cole Haan uses Nike Air technology so they are comfortable.
I bought some Nina shoes and they don't seem too bad, but I also haven't worn them all day so who know...Usually high heels hurt my feet within minutes, but these ones dont. I prance around in them when the dude isn't home.
I have some Nina shoes, as well. I don't think they are too bad, either but I haven't worn them all day yet. They are pretty high--about 4 inches but so far, so good.
I was looking for some non-bridal looking shoes and was surprised how comfy Paris Hilton's shoe line was. K stop laughing... I'm serious! That girl lives in heels and she's made certain that her shoes are comfy!
Damn! Wedding shoes are pricey! But I guess, they are made to be comfy and you pay for what you get. Right?
Are you sure that the bottom is not repositionable? On a few of the scalloped bottom dresses I looked at, the salon said that the bottom could basically be cut off, and repositioned higher, if the dress needed to be shortened.
OH I like these <div style="background:url(http://ninashoes.com/assets/layout/item-mediashare-bg.jpg) repeat-x bottom; height:226px; width:118px;"><div style="width:100%; height:216px; position:relative"><div style="position:absolute; bottom:0; width:100%; text-align:center;">
<div style="width:85%; background-color:Black; height:15px; color:White; text-transform:uppercase; text-align:center; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; "><p style="line-height:15px; font-size:10px; font-family:Arial; ">ERLIA
Does anyone know about David Brida's shoes? My sister suggested them to me. But if they aren't known for being comfortable then I'd rather go with a known brand.
I tried on the Hey Lady shoe line at a bridal shop and they really are super comfortable. However, that to me is not worth the 200+ dollars. I'm wondering if maybe I could just wear espadrilles instead of pumps? No one sees the shoes anyway, right?
And Knit, I was totally laughing at the thought of Paris Hilton's shoes being comfortable! Nice to know she's got some sense!
If you have the money, or feel comfortable buying off Ebay or from a consignment shop, the Manolo Blahnik satin D'Orsay is the most beautiful and comfortable pair of heels I have ever owned. I mean, you have to practice walking in them, as they are high, but they're made of good materials, so you don't get blisters as long as they're broken in. And my feet usually blister really easily.
I wore them at FSIL's wedding, and expected to be dying by the end of the night. Every BM but me changed into flip flops - I made it until the vendors were packing up at the reception, and it still wasn't bad. Plus, they are the kind of shoes that you just feel beautiful in. (And I was wearing a not-so-beautiful BM dress.)
My shoes are David's Bridal and they are comfortable! And I got them for less that $40.00! I did however try on a couple of pairs that I didn't think were too comfortable from there, but I just crossed them off the list and moved on.
@kdlowery CUTE SHOES!
@lilyFaith I'll look into them. Thus far most of the shoes that other bees have suggested have been quite pricey. So I'll see!!
THANKS
Well girls I am back to this subject: SHOES. My wedding is under 3 months away and I am having the great debate...which brand to go with? I want comfy shoes, but don't want to spend more than I spent on my wedding dress for them! Please keep suggesting brands or seconding the opinions here. Also, where do you dye dyeable shoes??
Hi Caitlin - you can try:
Payless (Lela Rose) : http://unforgettablemoments.3dcartstores.com/Women_c_28.html

if u are a 'comfortable' shoe person....i suggest u might want to put on 'wedges' type, they are pretty comfy in general. i'm not a high heel shoe person either and always opt for comfy, and i found tat's one type i can wear for quite long hours without having too much pain. also its ur wedding day, its more important to be comfortable than anything else....cole haan definitely is one brand to go for comfy. having said tat, always gut to try on ur wedding shoes and make sure u wear it few times before the d-day:) gut luck!
@Sali2011 Thanks I'll check out those links.
@mjc I am not much of a high heel person, although I can do it occasionally. I am a comfort shoe person. I'll check out Tat's also. I'm thinking of nicer high heel shoes for most of the party, and if my feet get sore to switching to some wedges or platforms...thanks for your help!
Oh you were saying "that's one type" not "tat's one type" hehe!
I think I'll get these! I'd have to dye them bc my dress is champagne and these are white...what really sells me is the NIKE AIR sole in the shoe! They seem very comfy!
Have you actually tried them on and walked around in them? I bought the hype about the Cole Haan Nike Air shoes and got a pair at a super steal-- 40 bucks for a pair of classic black pumps, with a reasonable heel. I have not worn them to this DAY (bought them almost 2 years ago) because they are so incredibly uncomfortable. The Nike Air makes no difference, the shoes kill my feet. Even though they are Cole Haan, it was still a waste of 40 dollars.
@texaslawgirl THANKS SO MUCH! I think I'll wait 'til I get to NY (I live in Spain but will be there in a month for the whole summer and my wedding) to try them on first!!!

Hello Bees! I love my dress, but I need to wear high heels with it bc if it gets shortened then it would lose it's beautiful scalloped edge. So, do you know of any comfortable high heel shoes? Or at least a brand? thanks!! By the way, I am NOT a high heel shoe person, I am a COMFORTABLE shoe person. So wish me luck!
