I’m wearing 4 inch heels for the ceremony but I want to swich into something comfy after. I still want to have the height though so that my dress won’t drag on the ground as bad. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I was thinking of switching into wedges because they are more comfy but I wanted to see what other suggestions were. I am also gonna try to get some insoles to see if my ceremony shoes will be tolerable all night and break them in aroung the house.

The most comfortable shoes IMO are Qupid 5.25″ platform pumps or Nine West 3″ heels.
Do you have an adjustable bustle that you could tie up higher when you switch shoes?
It really wasnt’ a problem for me when I went from my pumps to flats, but my BFF did the same and she ripped her dress when she accidentally stepped back on it. 🙁

If you are going to try and break in your ceremony shoes, I would recommend standing still in them as long as possible, I wore mine around the house loads before the wedding, but I was not prepared for standing still in them, for the ceremony, standing talking to people, getting pictures done etc…. I was in my converse by the time we got to the first dance as my feet were killing me, have worn them since on a night out no problems, just the standing around thing that hurt 🙂
