When I came off Depo I didn't get a period for about a year. My doctor finally gave me meds to start it again.
@Sunflower--girl: At the moment that sounds wonderful- but while I was on Depo I was spotting constantly, so it was nice not to bleed at all for about 2 months. But a year is definitely too long! Hope things are better now!

Ugh - I stopped my Depo shots around July, and am starting to feel more normal, but I have started to get two periods a month!!!!
The first is about a week long like a normal period and the week before has all the fun of soreness, cramps and big appetite. The second only lasts about 4 days and is a little lighter, but SHEESH this is annoying!
But my sex drive is back and I'm slowly losing the weight I put on over the past year, so at least there is some trade off.
Anyone else have stories about coming off of BC?
