I can’t believe she said that. I hope she doesn’t fit into her pants tomorrow.

Lordy.

Some people have no sense.

I hope you found something supertasty, though!

REALLY? I mean really? Wow. I don’t know if I could respond to that without getting fired! Lol. How ridiculous! I bet she went and bought a coke and a candy bar right after you left too…psht.

I got that ALL THE TIME! And it drove me insane! They have mini birthday parties here at work, and they always have cake. I’ve never been a huge cake eater…and anytime I passed it up, someone said, “Oh…that’s right, she’s a bride! She has to fit into her wedding dress!”

Actually, no…I just don’t like cake. And if I wanted a piece, I would have one, thank you very much!

Typical foot-in-your-mouth comment that I think every bride to be has to hear!! So annoying!!  People are just dumb sometimes.

I always remember what Ann Landers used to say when people either said or asked something inappropriate.

“Why are you asking (or saying) that?”

It totally turns the comment back on them.

Totally inappropriate. I got this all the time too in conjunction with pressure to eat cake my coworkers were eating. I was like “Make up your minds!!!”
