@Tbblount:  I don’t think it has anything to do with it not having a halo but more the fact that the diamond is pretty sizeable. Is it common to have a diamond this size in the place you live?

@Tbblount:  I love it! Very similar to mine but mine has micropave and milgrain. The baguettes are such a pretty contrast against the round center!!!

I love it! Very unique but still classic. everyone around here has a halo with a pave band it’s like it’s mandatory or something so when someone chooses something different it’s like “wow!”

I saw the pictures first and said, “OMG I love it!” The PP is right – the baguettes do make a nice contrast to the RB. It’s beautiful!

What was the style you originally picked out?

It is a large diamond, it’s different than what’s trendy (any, imho it’s assumed that younger brides are most likely to want what’s trendy), and it’s also a a throwback style.  Baguettes flanking a center like that were really popular in the 1940s

I always get comments on my ring and it’s a halo?

I think it’s a beautiful ring! To be honest, I think it was a great choice. I don’t really like when rings have to much going on and it looks like yours is a good size!

I think it’s normal to feel that way though. Every day I fall in love with different types of rings here on the Bee and think “oh I should’ve picked out something like that” but don’t worry that’s normal. He probably wanted to go with something classic that will never go out of style!

People comment because it’s a gorgeous ring with a very lovey sizable stone. Young or older people would appreciate that ring. I have a halo with a cluster like center …never thought I would want a cluster but when we went ring shopping it was what he picked and when I tried it on it I was sold. I get comments daily on my ring everyone who have seen it loves it it shines like crazy and everyone thinks its different which I feel is true different varies no matter where you go but a gorgeous ring your style or not will always be beeautiful and people will comment. Oh by the way totally different and beautiful ring 🙂

I think the baguettes are SO stunning. They DEFINITELY bring the ring to a whole different level!

I would compliment it, too!

@Tbblount:  The comments are probably because people dont see baguettes so much any more? WB is full of ginormous rings (if you’d said CB i would say its probably due to the size ha)  I will say that southern women seem more vocal about rings- when I was visiting texas a few months back, a TON of strangers made comments on my ring. It happens less often here in NYC.  I say be happy that people think its beautiful!
