I have one or two.
My most fave one (and T's too) is the new Chase Sapphire card commercial. The cute hubby is sitting down and his w comes in wearing this great dress (it's a good dress..looks good on her but it's a dress) and he says to her he'd like to take her away on a fantastic romantic vacation..and she keeps saying they can't..
And he was going to use their rewards on the card to pay for the trip..when at the end she finally tells him she used ALL THE POINTS to go buy that damn dress.
I felt bad for the guy. She used all his points and didn't tell him.
T said "honey you'd find a way to have the dress and take the trip but you'd never sneak points.."
So that's my latest commercial I don't like.
Runner up is the sham wow guy. Ultra creepy dude with one eyebrow that seems to arch far upward and gives that crazy creepy look plus he's practically screaming.
What commercials make you wish you'd never seen them?
A long time ago I saw a commercial about nail fungus... the cartoon fungus lifts up the toenail & crawls under it. *shudder* I don't think I ever watched the whole thing, but it makes me sick to my stomach.
It's a stupid, sickening commercial.
I abhor the Comcast commercials with the "Slowskis." This stupid tortoise couple that likes slow internet connections. Ugh.
Also the Geico ones with the money with eyes. That song drives me insane and the advertisements just don't make much sense.
RecessionistaBride: I remember that commercial! It was soooooooo gross I had to cover my eyes when it was played.
@jillian - I hate the Geico money w/eyes too.
My FI hates the Nasonex commercial with the French bee. Actually, we both hate all the ads with the talking animated animals or cars. Creeeepppy!
My favorite commercials are the ones with the freecredit report.com guy. LOVE him but drive FI up a tree cause I get the songs stuck in my head and I know all the words:-)

@Bellenga-- I hate that Chase one too! First, It's a totally crappy thing for that woman to do. Second, the guy just laughs it off! If I did something like that, FI would be P.O.'d! That commercial does not reflect my reality. I cannot relate to it and I've lost respect for both characters by the time it is over.

I have to agree that the sham wow guy is totally creepy- have you seen the one he made for the slap chop? I guess he got in trouble a few months ago for beating up a prostitute... a real winner there.
I hate this commerical on IO Digital Cable! Not sure if it's local only, but every time it comes on I have to change the channel!
wow Mrs. Bee... that is just obnoxious!! I'd change the channel, too.
I cannot stand the Head On ones... The product that you rub on your forehead to eliminate headaches... haha. That one is so annoying. There is also an insanely annoying guy who sells car stereo equipment and things like that. I don't remember the company but he seems really hyper active and it is very disturbing!
The one I can't stand: The yogurt commercial where the lady rips open the yogurt, tilts it back, and DRINKS it, then wipes her face and looks around while doing this creepy overbite. The nail fungus commercials don't gross me out at all, but the yougurt one does. I will actually change the channel when that one comes on, so I don't even know for sure which yogurt it is, (I THINK Light N Fit).
And maybe it's because I work retail, but the new Aleve commercial annoys me too. It's the one where the lady has like, four boxes of Tylenol in her basket, then realizes she only needs ONE box of Aleve to get the same amount of pain relief. So she takes the Aleve and we see her SET DOWN HER BASKET AND WALK AWAY!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!! Put back the crap you change your mind on! You don't just set it on the floor and leave!

I hate the Geico money commercials too and the one for that other insurance - where they're "shopping" for insurance with that annoying lady.
Usually it's the voices or the nasty stuff that irritate me - the toenail thing, the mucinex blob, etc.
My hubby and I love the Comcast commercials with the Slowskys.
I am so tired of the Geico commercials with the money.
The Target commercials that solely aim at women irritate me. Especially the one with the woman and her children. Where is the father?? Why does he not help out with ANYTHING? Why does she do everything at home, exercise, go to work, and then immediately leave because her stupid kid forgot his stupid project? The father is just not there, presumably we're supposed to think he's doing something more important. I just don't like anything that show women as being responsible for EVERYTHING. It doesn't help.
And the music in them bothers me now too.
I HATE the commercials by Noah Wiley for polar bears and Sarah McLaphlin (sp?) for shelter animals. They make me cry and make me depressed for a long time. I have to either tivo through them or change the channel. I'm just a total animal lover and if I just sit and think about animals in shelters or being neglected or not loved or something (or the poor little polar bears drowning to death!) I will just cry. Sigh :(

The Olive Garden commercial with the artificial banter drives me nuts...especially the one where the guy says "You'll do you the math, I'll do the Alfredo!!!" Who talks like that?!?!?!?!
I also hate the Free Credit Report.com commericals with that strange looking guy who sings the songs...it gets stuck in my head for the whole day! I actually mute that commerical when it comes on!
I also hate the IO digital cable commercials. They're just plain bad! I also can't stand the Just For Men commecials. There's two, and both are equally lame. I have no idea how that would get guys to want to buy their product!

The Verizon commercial where the girl asks the guy what songs are on his phone and it takes their whole life (wedding, having a baby, their kids' graduation, etc) for him to tell her.
And this is from last year but warrants mentioning. Last season, during Sunday football (and I watch ALL DAY) those "Saved by zerrrrooooo" commercials were on just about every 10 seconds. I thought they were some sort of brainwashing technique.

I also hated the radio only commercial (played a lot here in Atlanta, home of Coke - maybe everywhere else too) where the guy kept drinking coke and making that annoying "aaaaaaaah" noise after each sip.
ANY commerical that demonstrates the effectiveness of a maxi pad by using blue liquid. Are you kidding?!?! NO ONE wants to see that. Or think about it!
@Bellenga--We were just talking about that Chase commercial the other day. I feel bad for the husband because she clearly used the points without telling him AND apparently there were a lot of points, because he was considering a trip or something. I would be quite peeved if my hubby used all our rewards on something just for him! ;)
I am with hotchildinthecity --I am TOTALLY creeped out by all the Geico commercials with the creepy eyes "watching you". Also, my husband totally HATES those Olive Garden commericals ("You do the math...I'm doing the alfredo"). He rages about them everytime they come on!
I also hate the coke commercials. It's just bad manners to do that in public or even in private. I love coke zero but I don't make guttural sounds after enjoying it!
And that IO commercial IS annoying. If I were in NYC I'd be flipping channels too!
It just makes me so mad that the cute hubby (he is cute..and in my age bracket) whose wife maxxes out his chase card just irks me.
I love a killer dress. T loves me to look good. But I'd be so pissed if he took all my points for say..a new kayak or sleeping bag or something ya know? You gotta know that commercial is 100 percent FICTION.
i've actually seen a commercial for a product called "urine gone". the name says it all. in the commercial they offer to throw in a black light for free, and they show someone using it in the bathroom, where there is pee all over the walls. it's disgusting. you can't make this up... i am 100% serious. has anyone else seen this????
For me it's the Jared Jewelers. So help me God, if I hear that jingle one more time. I find it so annoying, that I banned FH from buying my ring there! They could have had the most perfect jewelry in the world, but I wouldn't know. I refused to set foot inside.
Have you ever seen the old Quizno commercial, with the sponge monkeys? I hated those. They freaked me out, and made me think the meat they used was like hamster or something. Ultra weird.
I also don't like the Shamwow guy, and I don't like the geico commercials unless they are the gecko ones, cause that makes more sense to me than the money one, and the cave man. I also don't like the commercial Mrs.Bee posted. I also don't like the yogurt one, and Omg The Head On commercial, that just is so freaking annoying! Head on, apply when needed! Head on, apply when needed! I mean shut up already, for real, haha. And that hotel commercial, with that old man who is always telling people to go lower with thier pricing for thier hotel or whatever, espically when he makes the asain dude talk funny and his wife goes "Why are you talking like that?" and the other hotel commercial with the creepy gnome. There's a lot more, but those are a few.
ArizonaBride- I love the freecreditreport.com commercials! They're songs are very catchy, and FI hates them too because I also know all the words to all thier songs, and I sing them all the time, haha.
" Wanted to get myself a new cell phone, so I could hear myself as a ring tone. Who knew the store would go and check my credit score..." haha that is one of my favorites.
Hahah, I am glad that they finally stopped playing the "Head On" ads. My fiance came up with the best parody: "Moron: Apply directly where it hurts." This was usually followed by him smacking his forehead. It was great. I almost wish they would play the ad again so I could see it one more time.
I always cry when the ASPCA ones come on. I cannot handle them ... they make me so upset for the rest of the day! Lol.
I'm totally with the foot fungus commercials. I nearly threw up when I saw the "fungus" lift the toenail...ugh mental picture now, so gross. The other one I hate is the Boost Mobile add where the girl is sitting on the front of a bicycle. Her boyfriend is pedaling, and her arms are up in the air, revealing the longest armpit hair ever that is hitting him in the face. Then she says "you think this is wrong?" Um yeah, Boost Mobile girl, I think that is very wrong.
And I can't watch the Sarah McLaughlin commercials, too sad.

Oh the sponge monkeys!!! I forgot about those. I thought they were kinda funny. Anyway, I remember a commercial from a few years back for heartburn medicine and it showed a stomach running on a treadmill and laying in bed.... gross!!
Also, in central Illinois we have a grocery chain called County Market and they have a commercial out now with little kids singing their jingle in their commercial. Supposed to be cute, but I find it super annoying!! The kids are way off-key and trying to hit the high-pitched notes. Yikes!
That stupid freaking comcast commercial where it talk about how fast it is...with that freaking super speed rabit, and some guy racing in better than ideal conditons...and it just goes on and on and on!!! Ugh!
I know Bellenga will know this one - The Bluebell ice cream commercials on the radio!! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! "Would you kids like some homemade ice cream....."
I hate the Fucillo car commercials here in NY. They're on every other commercial & they're just STUPID! I change the channel asap
The Geico one is soooo annoying. C'mon. It's NOT a good idea. It's NOT creative or catchy. It is overplayed. Move on. Cardboard eyes on top of the "money you could be saving with Geico" is just Booooorrrrrriiiiinnnnngggggg. (In my opinion, lol!)
In regards to the Chaes commercial about the girl who buys the dress with her points, it doesn't bother me like it bothers other people here, but it makes me laugh to think about it. At least in the commercial, after she tells her husband she used their points fr the dress, he at least gets that look in eyes like "Ok, the dress is for me too, because my wife looks hot." But it makes me laugh because I'd love to see the guy's version of this commercial.
The wife would say "I've been thinking, let's use our points for a couple's spa day." And the husband would say they couldn't while playing his new Wii, and then she would get mad at him about how he spent their points without consulting her and this was an equal relationship and he should have at least talked to her about it!!! I can just see it now!!! LOL!!!! :)

The credit report songs are stupid and annoying, and the Geico eyes thing is just weird. It doesn't make any sense. I'm really sick of the Geico cavemen, too. They were funny the first few times, but I think everyone's over it.
I really get annoyed with all the "natural male enhancement" commercials. Especially that one with "Bob" in the santa suit with all the ladies who want to sit on his lap. There's some new product out called "extenze" or something like that and I have no idea how the actors are able to say their lines without totally cracking up.
This goes along with the Chase credit card commercials....I hate luxury car commercials that air around Christmas where one spouse has bought the other a Lexus or BMW or Mercedes and there's a big bow on it. How can you possibly keep the purchase of a very expensive car a secret from the person you are married to!?!?! Are you sneaking out at night to work an extra job so they won't notice you are pinching pennies? Or are you paying a down payment and leaving your spouse with the monthly payments? I wouldn't even want to pick out someone else's car. If my husband snuck off and bought a car without telling me, I was be SOOO MAD!
