Ooh how exciting! The interview will probably run like most interviews that you’ve had, but at least you can walk with confidence! You know they like you and you are among their top candidates! Just be yourself… They already like YOU!

Oooh, that’s AWESOME!

I would definitely prepare for it as though it was a normal interview. Wear a suit, bring several copies of your resume, maybe some samples of your research in report covers?

BE YOURSELF. Them courting you gives you a great advantage but keep in mind that a higher salary also means a higher level of stress/higher responsibilities so you really want to make sure that you jive with your leaders and team really well, this aspect of the interview should not be overlooked.  Your phone interview will be a screening for your expertise (holy crap that is a lot of executive power on your screening!), and the face to face will hopefully be when you get to meet the team so you can mutually size each other up.  This is so exciting!!

@nhoh:  good for you.  you must have been very impressive during your presentation.  treat this interview no differently as you would any other interview.  be prepared, research the company’s background and learn as much as you can about them.  don’t get over confident, just because they came to you, they are still going to be looking for the perfect candidate.

as for the phone interview, it will be a bit different b/c you can’t read their body language or facial expressions.  even though it’s on the phone, i would still suit up and look your best b/c when you look good, you will feel more confident.

good luck.  please keep us posted.

@nhoh:  Without giving too much away, do you know what kind of competition you have?  What sector they’re from?

And have they told you what the format of the phone call is?  Like, are you presenting over the phone or are they asking you questions?

A phone interview with seven people? How weird! Definitely be yourself, take your time answering, and answer thoughtfully and honestly.
