Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder?
thinner or fatter?
richer or poorer?
Just a little bored...lol
E=DC2
Happier, about the same in terms of body (maybe a little fatter), and about the same in terms of money. :)
About the same on all three. I need something to spice up my life! ha.
Definitely happier :) About the same body wise (reeeeeeeally need to work on that in the new year). A little bit better off right now than we've been in a while. Things are finally falling into place.
Happier
Neither fatter nor thinner (workin on thinner!)
Kinda richer because I make much better money now, and yet way poorer because now I have a mortgage!
I would say I'm the same ammount of happy.
I'm about the same weight.
I wouldn't say I'm richer, but I have less bills, so more goes into savings.
I guess I would say happier.
I am definately Fatter UGH!
Technically Richer but not by much.
I'm happier!
Fatter...I've gaine about 11 pounds this year! And need to loose about 7 before the wedding!
Richer...because I have less bills!
Happier, weight is the same and richer :) Haha it would have been hard not to be happier and richer than I was as a single mom.
happier or sadder? happier
fatter or thinner? about the same (I am not counting the xmas pudge or monthly bloat :P)
richer or poorer? definitely richer.
@missmouse29: Definitely can't count this last month with the Holidays! LOL!
Hmm.... here goes:
Happier: LDR/LDM is OVER and husband is home!!!!
Fatter: I stress eat and the first 10 months of marriage being apart was stressful. lol
Both? Richer because we have more money in the bank...Poorer because we are on one income.
@JsDragonfly: Happy anniversary!
@Donnica22: I think it means Long Distance Relationship/Marriage
Much happier
Much thinner
Much much much richer (I graduated college in May and started working full time, lol)
Wow, I'm in an awesome place! Hope I can keep that up! Although next year at this time I wouldn't mind being fatter due to having a baby in my belly, lol...
@Pomapoo: OHHHHH Gotcha!
Yes it is @JsDragonfly: anniversary! YAYYYYYYYYY!!! HAPPY ONE YEAR!!!!!!!!
happier or sadder? Same. Last year I was just getting ready to get married, and this year I'm getting ready to have my first anniversary. All good things!
thinner or fatter? fatter :( I have my reasons for gaining weight, but it doesn't make it any easier.
richer or poorer? Richer, thanks to all the wedding gifts!
MUCH MUCH MORE HAPPIER!
A little fatter...damn
And a lot richer. We combined finaces. ^_^
happier or sadder? - happier
thinner or fatter? - same
richer or poorer? - poorer as not working full time
i think happier, though i'm feeling really drained and worn out recently
thinner--though i've gained a few lbs back since our wedding
poorer for sure! i started grad school this semester, and my stipend is about half my old salary (and hubby and i already shared living expenses last year).
Happier -- I got engaged over the summer, and was really bummed that he didn't propose around the holidays last year.
Fatter -- But I'm blaming it on xmas food!
The same -- I'm making more money then I was last year, but I also have more bills to pay... ugghghgh student loans!!
@JsDragonfly: Happy anniversary!!! :)
same on almost all.... but fatter! AH! I guess maybe that's the best of the 3 to decline? LOL
@Tattoo--- WOOT :) that's fun, are you enjoying it??
Fatter-(less moving around, went from being a server to student teaching)
Poorer-(ummm student teaching=no pay=LAME)
Happier-Just graduated college and for the first time in years I'm not completely having a meltdown from school/work...I'm on the track to doing exactly what I want to do:) However I wish I weren't fatter and poorer
lol
Richer or poorer? Richer, because we are married and combined finances.
Thinner or fatter? About the same.
Happier or sadder? A million times happier! It is much, much better to be my husband's wife than to be his girlfriend!
happier, same for body, and much richer (that's not why i'm happy though lol)
Much happier! This time last year, I had just been laid off, hadn't yet started my new job, my FI was deployed, and I had just moved 1000 miles to be closer to him. Now I am still working in a fabulous job, I am married, and DH isn't deployed!
MUCH fatter. I gained about 60 lbs in the first 9 months of this year...and I wasn't dangerously thin at this time last year. I have lost a couple of pounds already, so let's say I am up 40 from this day last year.
Richer! Combining finances with DH allowed both of us to pay off the bit of CC debt I had, reach our 6 month emergency fund in savings, and put us on track to pay off one of his student loans more than 2 years early!
Happier Fatter and Richer :)
(just paid of FI truck and we both got raises and bonuses this year, we didnt get anything last year due to the recession)
happier, neither fatter nor thinner, poorer - paying for a wedding aint cheap and i'm quitting my job tomorrow so that I can move to live with my FI after our wedding.
@MissBoPeep: Hilarious!
I was sadder because I lost my dad three months prior and I wasn't engaged!
I would say I was thinner (only a couple of pounds)
And I was richer because I didn't own a home then.
So I guess I'm pretty balanced!
Happier!! yay for marriage
a tiny bit fatter - not much. about the same
a littler richer - not my much, about the same.
happier (engaged!!!!), thinner (down 20 pounds!!!!), poorer (the wedding...but I've never been so happy to be poor!).
MUCH happier!! I love being engaged :)
Thinner...I lost 50 pounds this year (that's also one of the reasons I'm happier)
Richer too! I now work full time at a job making more than I was making last year and FI and I combined finances.
It's been a great year!
Happier- I am engaged to the love of my life, I am enjoying my career...a lot of things are going well!
Fatter- I've gained some weight, but I've started Weight Watchers (a program I have been successful with, when I follow it) again, so hopefully when I answer this next year, I can say thinner!
Poorer- Only because I've started grad school and am saving for our wedding!
MUCH happier! I was "waiting" for 2 years of our more than 5 year relationship to get engaged and it finally happened this summer.
Kinda the same weight wise though my New Years resolution is to diet so we'll see how that goes.
MUCH richer. This past September I came into a considerable amount of money that I never knew I had. Our software company is also doing much better now too so we have more money coming in from that source.
