We’ve decided to have a smaller wedding, 60 people, at a restaurant instead of a bigger wedding and take a month long honeymoon. Smaller restaurant, one person to deal with and we thought that was perfect.
Our first issue was 3 weeks ago when we called her to pay our bill in fulL with our coordinator with a credit card. When we put down our deposit & signed the contract, she said that she may be able to give us a discount if we paid early. While on the phone 3 weeks ago, we asked about a discount and she went into this rant about “if she went to buy a suit, would she get a discount” and blah, blah, blah. I thought it was very disrespectful. No, I’m sorry, no discount would have been fine for us.
That was on Friday, when we called to pay our bill in full and had this conversation with her. On Tuesday morning we had to call her back since there was no charge on our card. She said she was “very busy & forgot”. WTH? Forgot…. Ok. Now, I want to contact her supervisor & complain.
My my last straw is this: she told us 3 weeks ago on this same phone call, that she had a wedding this past Sat on the 28th, we could come before the wedding and see the deck and the rooM set up. We are having our ceremony on the deck.
I get an email this morning saying that she ‘found out’ that we were there on Saturday and that they can’t fit 60 chairs on the deck for our ceremony….. 19 days before our wedding.
Do I rock the boat and contact her supervisor now or wait? She may not – not sure yet- be there the day of the wedding.
