@mstellah: I read that hurricanes rarely hit Belize because hurricanes travel from Africa west and then head North West and hit Florida, Carolinas etc. What I read is that during Belize "Hurricane" season mostly they just get a lot of rain but rarely damaging winds. The last hurricane they got was in 1960's. So its not to say they won't or couldn't get a hurricane during their season but South Eastern USA is more likely to get the storms.

Corset back, but with buttons from the top of the back all the way to the hem. It also has pockets!

First Dance Song: Ma vie en rose (Edith Piaf) sung by professional Jazz singer (friend of Bride)
Centerpieces: Hurricane vases with ivory candles surrounded by a ring of scattered silk purple and hot pink flower petals.
Food/Menu: Canapes served on a wooden decking overlooking the golf course and fountain followed by a hot buffet of Sunday roast meats (spring lamb and turkey) and vegetables and a dessert buffet
Cake Flavour: 2 tiers gluten-free orange and almond syrup and chocolate mud. See pictures of our cute porcelain figureines below we are using on the cake !! (cake pictured is not my cake)
Favours: minature paper lanterns with heart lace detailing and LED tealights
DJ/Band/Ipod: Jazz band who will also double as DJ later in the night
Bachelorette (when/what): My wedding will be on a Sunday over a long weekend. I am not having a Bachelorette, instead a Bridal shower/ kitchen tea the sat afternoon the day before the wedding when all my friends have arrived and a casual dinner (co-ed) for all the guests the night before the wedding.

Ceremony (where, time): our church in Chicago at 3:30pm
Reception (where, time): an old banquet hall called Germania Place, also in Chicago. Cocktail hour at 6pm
Dress Style: ella rosa be123, satin, trumpet with rouching.
Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): pro! But they are friends!
Honeymoon Location: 10 lovely days in St. Lucia!
Flowers: Hydrangeas
First Dance Song: don't know yet!!
Centerpieces: simple purple hydrangeas
Food/Menu: 4 course plated meal. Tasting is next month..

Ceremony (where, time): The Park Place, Shafter Ca. 4:30
Reception (where, time): Same Place as ceremony
Dress Style: Allure, mermaid sweetheart, strapless
Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): DYI makeup, and Pro for hair
Honeymoon Location: Not sure if we will have the funds to go somewhere exotic, but Vegas for a few days.
Flowers: Stargazers, Orchids.
First Dance Song: Love of a life time, Firehouse.
Centerpieces: Half of the tables with an eiffel towers with stargazers and the other half with submerged orchids in a vase with fuchsia marbles and a light. And maybe potted orchid plants on some, not sure yet.
Food/Menu: Fruit, cheese and cracker orderves, Rosemary chicken and tri-tip, garlic mash potatoes, pasta salad, ranch baked beans, and mixed vegetables. Ceasar salad, and rolls with butter. Still deciding if we want to have steaks instead of tri-tip.
Cake Flavour: undecided
Favours: Having a photo booth so I figured that would be the favours because everyone can take a photo and keep it. but still not sure if we will be doing more.
