My FH is in the Army, and as any girl marrying into the military knows, my timeline and theirs are always WAY OFF! So after too many attempts to plan a wedding, I finally decided no more, and that we would not pick a date, book a venue, call a caterer or anything until he was back home from this deployment and with me. I have a friend who is going to marry us, and our family and close friends can drive down for a weekend fairly easily, so it will be fairly easy for us to pick a day and throw it together, but I still want to be able to do something wedding related for the next nine months. I have decided to make a ‘Wedding in a Box’. I will have everything we need to have a perfect day in a box (a fairly large box), and as much as I can possibly do myself, I want to. We already have rings, and I have a dress and shoes, and he has his uniform. So those things are all taken care of. So what other things would you put in the box? And is it something you would DIY? I would love to hear everyones ideas!

We wont be doing invitations, I dont think. With it only being very close family and friends, and probably put together in a week, there wouldnt be much time to even get them mailed. I will be making bouquets from fabric from some sentimental things, and brooches, for my sister (MOH) and I. FI will be in uniform so no bout needed. Veil I just counted in with dress. haha, same with Garter.
@alishaloo: This might be dumb, but I spy’s? What is that? I hadnt even though about gifts! I guess I need to get thinking about that!
