I went dress shopping today and was hoping I'd find the dress... but what do you know- I found 2! Now i'm trying to narrow this down and I'd like your opinion!

The first is the Mikaella 1202. I actually fell in love with this dress online and drove a ways to try it on. The dress is simple and stunning. It's simplistic enough to let me wear my hair down and I feel comfortable and beautiful in it. It's light weight which is also nice. I'm only 5'2, so it's a bit long, but that can be adjusted of course...

The second is a custom dress. It's absolutely stunning and they can make modifications to my liking. It's a bit heavier, and I think a bit more formal looking. I'm concerned that I may not be able to wear my hair down with this dress... Although that's not a deal breaker or anything. The pic is off my cell, and she had already taken the clips out on the hips (it should be more form fitting). I love the beauty of it and the unusual/flattering neckline.

So again- totally and completely torn between these. Cost is virtually the same... Let me know what you think!

The second one is STUNNING! I like them both (and you look great in both) but the second seems to be more special and unique. Plus, I think it flatter your body a bit better. Either would be beautiful, but my vote is definitely #2!!

The first one is so you...  the second is a little more boxy (though I do love the bling and the drama)... just in terms of accentuating your figure, the first kicks all butt!

I really like the second as well.  What is the setting for your wedding?  Can you have a more formal gown.

I think that even without the clips in the second one looks better. It just fits you better.

I say the first one! You are glowing in it. The second one doesn't compare.

i dont like the neckline in the 2nd one because it is so low. I voted for the first one.

From what I can tell in the pic, I agree about the neckline in the 2nd, looks a little too steeply V'd and you may not feel as comfortable. I think the first fits you in a flattering way even now and will look perfect with alterations.

I personally prefer the first one. The second one is a little more boxy - the first one fits you perfectly!

Both are beautiful and you really can't go wrong with either.  I love the extra detailing on the second dress.

I like the second one.  It's more unique.  And you can definitely wear your hair down with it, from what I can see.

They're both pretty but I think the second one is much more unique looking and eye catching. If it were me I'd pick that one hands down, but I agree that you can't go wrong with either. Congratulations on finding two dresses you love!

I definitely think the first dress is the best.  Then again, I'm conservative.  I just don't know if I'd want a dress to show that much cleavage in front of my grandma on the day of the wedding let alone my dad (who would probably kill me).

I just like the first one more because it's classic.  When you look back on it years later, you won't regret it (because the second looks too trendy).

I like the second dress, but since it's custom and you can make changes, I'd pull the point of the "v" up about 2-3 inches.  I think you can still get the same effect without displaying quite so much chest.  The rest of the dress is gorgeous, though!

Love the second dress and you could TOTALLY wear your hair down (unless it's a technical issue, not a visual issue).

They are both beautiful on you but I voted for the 1st because it's simple and perfect, totally classic.  With the custom dress, I agree with others who said the neckline is probably a bit low for a wedding gown (though the dress does look great on you).  Perhaps this is something that could be altered.  I agree the custom dress has a more "formal/black tie wedding" air to it (vs. the first one), not sure what type of wedding you're planning but that could also be a factor.

Yes, the neckline is a wee bit low. LOL. Definitely something to be fixed up a bit. Our wedding is at a Vineyard. It will have a nice, homely vibe to it. Nothing over the top or super formal- but I think both dresses would be appropriate for the event...

They're both very pretty, but I like the first one on your figure better.  I agree with Mrs. DG, I think the second one is a little boxy.  You look stunning in the first!

i would pick number two with modifications (the front is a bit low cut) or number one is for a more casual affair.

if you are looking to be more carefree rustic with the decor etc, i would go with the first, if you are more formal elegant then the second. two different feelings - so its more about what you would want the feeling to be since the dress dictates that.

and you can wear your hair down with the second but it would have to be "done up" down - aka big flower on side with swept curls etc....?

You look great in both dresses, but I really love you in the second dress! I think it's much more unique and very beautiful. I think if you do go for the second dress, you should maybe think about modifying the neckline so it doesn't show so much. I think it would be perfect for a wedding at a vineyard and I totally think you could wear your hair down with that dress.

I love the Mikaella on you.  The other one looks pretty as well but I'm a Mikaella bride (1406 for me) so I vote for that one.

I tried on Mikaella 1202 too and loved it but wanted something more eye popping...the second one made me think "wow", that's a dress! They're both stunning but my vote is for the custom dress.

ooh, this is a tough one-- they are both gorgeous on you!!  I agree with everyone who says the neckline on the 2nd one is a bit dramatic... i would have to say the first one-- your face is glowing in the first dress, and it sounds like you already had your heart set on it from the very beginning!  stick with your gut instinct :)
