@Quackadoo:  I’m sorry to hear about your surgery and removal of your cyst.  I had a laparoscopy for removal of a large cyst on my ovary as well.  I too was very constipated after my surgery and had some cramping afterward too but eventually everything finally got back to normal. I would just give the doctor a call and let him know what you are experiencing.  Good luck!

I’m so sorry! 7 weeks ago I had both ovaries removed and I still have occasional pain. My surgeon doesn’t seem too concerned. It takes a long time to heal, take care of yourself.

@Quackadoo:  I had a complete hysterectomy including both ovaries and my cervix. I had endometriosis, endometritis and dermoid cysts on both ovaries. After over 20 years of chronic pelvic it was the only thing left to do. I hope you feel better soon!

I had cysts removed from both ovaries and endometriosis removed.  I don’t remember it being super bad, but I do remember some aching for a few weeks after.  If the pain gets bad, make sure you see your doctor, you don’t want to mess around with that stuff.

I’m sorry you needed the surgery and sorry to previous posters for theirs as well.

I’m glad that after rest you are doing well!  It’s a scary thing to go through, but it sounds like you were a champ!

Thanks for coming back to update us 🙂
